Managed to get in for a quick brunch on a Sunday (perfect timing). The two staff working front of house were very friendly and made me feel welcome even though I was dining alone. It can be so challenging finding places for brunch as a solo patron with the breakfast/brunch crowds. So definitely appreciate The Brown Hound!
Visiting from Saskatoon and walked over on our last night after reading the reviews. Not disappointed…what one imagines a neighbourhood pub should be. Friendly staff, great decor and very good food and drinks.

Had lunch at the Hound and really enjoyed the atmosphere as dog lovers. Lots of dog memorabilia in restaurant and bathroom.Mix of tables and a classic bar .The server was super friendly and helpful and the food came out quickly. The shepherds pie was hot and a bit spicy.Patio looked appealing for a sunny day.
