Had lunch at the Hound and really enjoyed the atmosphere as dog lovers. Lots of dog memorabilia in restaurant and bathroom.Mix of tables and a classic bar .The server was super friendly and helpful and the food came out quickly. The shepherds pie was hot and a bit spicy.Patio looked appealing for a sunny day.

One of the best pubs in town. Love when the bar is packed, it's a small space so it feels like everyone is there together. Best fries in town and a lovely Guinness too!

Managed to get in for a quick brunch on a Sunday (perfect timing). The two staff working front of house were very friendly and made me feel welcome even though I was dining alone. It can be so challenging finding places for brunch as a solo patron with the breakfast/brunch crowds. So definitely appreciate The Brown Hound!
