Quiet, romantic place, good food
The rooms are of decent space, but furniture is dated. Bathrooms really need to be renovated, the bathtub had brownish stains and was generally discolored and the silicone beween sink and countertop was no good anymore.
Breakfast room gets crowded in the later hours of morning, choices at the buffet are okay but in no way exceptional. Plastic coffee cups need replacement. Restaurant colses 9p.m., bar 10p.m., both a bit early in my opinion.

helpful staff. Especially, Tripti and her colleague helped us to change our room to a better one on the second night of our stay. Beautiful view of the lake and Halifax, in general.
