Great breakfast. Location is great for appointments at the IWK Children hospital or exploring Halifax. Overlooks a peaceful lake. Interior hotel rooms are nicer than the drive up ones which need some updating

Nice selection of retro video games and pinball machines. Pretty easy to access. Signage inside of the hotel to indicate where everything is well done and when interacting with employees, they were helpful and professional. Arcade is open to the public which is wonderful.I have not placed a review on the rooms as I have not stayed at the hotel

The staff is friendly but the cleanliness is subpar. There were bugs and also long hairs on the clean towels (either from staff or leftover from the prior person in the room). Leaving feeling dirty. Lots of banging throughout the day and night, sometimes so loud it sounds like construction on top of your head.

Nice option for overnight stay in the Halifax area with great breakfast choices included in the price. Free parking on site and quick drive to Halifax Shopping Centre or Bayers lake business park. Gym, arcade, and pool on site as well, pool gets busy at times, may require wait to enjoy. Stayed during winter at a suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch, 2 TVs, fridge, microwave. Hotel has many different levels so may need to get used to the layout. Coffee machine in the lobby is a great and welcomed feature for the guests. Was an enjoyable stay, probably even better during the months when outside can be enjoyed and lake is not frozen.Rooms: Large, had a suite with 2 queen and pull out couch. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, 2 TVs in the room.Nearby activities: Not far from Halifax Shopping Centre and Bayers lake with options from activities such as movie theater, shopping, dining.Noteworthy details: Corner store and Subway next door

This hotel has an amazing arcade, I played pinball here all day and had a blast. Room was good, restaurant was great and friendly servers. I will be back to vacation at the hotel, and by that I mean the hotel is the destination.
