Stopped at this beautiful winery after a trip to Blomindon Provincial Park. A beautiful old bar reconfigured to a winery with a great patio outside as well as seats inside. We each had a glass of wine … I tried and thoroughly enjoyed the L’Acadie. In fact I purchased a case to take home. Although we didn’t have anything to eat, their menu looked great.
We did 2 flights as they had a little bit of everything here: white, red, cider, mead and port. The lovey host maybe new, but was very sweet and knew enough about the wine to keep the conversation going.We came at the beginning of the season, so had the place to ourselves and was able to talk about the place a little more than usual. They have done a fabulous job expanding the outside seating area.Wines were good. Dessert was yummy.Need to try some of the food menu items next time as we did not realize that this too has expanded.
