I highly recommend anyone who comes to Lunenburg to make an excursion to this place. We came here for dinner after a day trip in Lunenburg. The food was solid with very reasonable prices. The only little hiccup was the fish & chips overcooked. The service was the best compared to most places we stopped in Lunenburg.

The absolute BEST in the area!! If you're touring around Lunenburg, make the short drive out to Sanddollar Beach & stop at Rose Bay Cafe!! The food is outstanding, the service is fantastic and the people are so friendly! We love it there and frankly, it's been the best food of our trip! If you get Marcy as a server, she is also totally awesome!!

Unique and local - two things I love when out exploring beautiful Nova Scotia. A friend introduced me to this gem on the South Shore. I've since shared it with family and another friend. The ambiance and decor is casual, warm, welcoming and one-of-a-kind. Careful thought was put into the design, which suits the natural beauty of the area. The menu is diverse and includes gluten-free and vegan options. The food is tasty and prepared with care. You can enjoy a full meal or a coffee and treat. You can even get a pot of tea - complete with China tea pot, teacup and saucer! The shop contains all sorts of interesting and yummy treasures. If you love your pottery coffee mug as much as I loved mine you can purchase your own from the general store, along with other local fare. Being minutes from Sand Dollar Beach, Hirtle's Beach, Gaff Point Trail and Kingsburg, this is the ideal stop before or after absorbing all the beauty of this area.

Love this little spot. I work locally and can get a great quick lunch but they have a full menu and drinks, everything you need for the cottage or camping. Liquor store, the works. The staff are very friendly as well.
Can be very busy in the summer with tourists depending on the weather and the day but still has fast service.
