This place is simply breathtaking! It’s a family-owned restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re part of the family. If you’re not in the mood for a sit-down meal, they offer takeout, so you can still enjoy a delicious meal on the go. And if you’re feeling a little thirsty, they have an amazing selection of wines in their store, which is attached to the restaurant. Plus, if you’re looking for a special gift for someone you love, you’ll find everything you need there. It’s like a one-stop shop for everything you need. Trust me, you won’t regret it! The food is absolutely mouthwatering, and you’ll be craving it after your visit. So, go ahead, treat yourself and indulge in this incredible experience. Your friends and family will thank you for it!

Nice little bistro with an attached shop where you can buy almost anything. And everything in great quality. Great wine selection. You can also choose a wine in the store and have it served in the bistro for an extra $10. The food is very tasty, the prices are fair and the service is very good.
Vegetarian options: If desired, the salads are also available without meat or bacon.

The cutest little restaurant and general store near Kingsburg. We’re in the area quite frequently for work and just discovered this little gem!! Outstanding food and a quaint atmosphere. My colleague mentioned that it’s some of the best vegetarian food she’s ever had!! We’ll be back!!

Excellent staff. Wonderful and friendly people. Felt like we were at a family reunion. Food was top notch and everyone was so friendly. We highly recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood. The food is fantastic and all fresh ingredients. We have been there 3 times and we will definitely return.

Cute place. People working here are very nice and kind. Food is good, but not sure why some reviews noted “best lobster roll”. It is ok, but not great, and far from best. Lobster meat was not very tender. We liked the lobster pizza, it reminded us of Alsatian tart flambé. Poutine was a very large dish, tasty, but no cheese curds, instead they use melted mozzarella.
The one heads up is regarding the wait times. We were lucky as we came in not hungry and with lots of time to waste. However, if you’re in a rush be aware that the food can take a very long time to come out. Ours was out in about 30 -40 min.

Friendly staff and great food. The lobster roll was the best my husband ever had and he is from NS. I had the fish burger, so delicious and very light. Perfect for a lunch stop. The bistro is attached to a general store, so don't get confused when you arrive. PS! The cookies were 10/10 as well.
All very good ?

We chose this place because if the high review rating, but we're disappointed in the place. We entered at 7 pm where the informed us we had 15 minutes to order as the kit hen was closing. That was not the problem, the problem came when 25 minutes later I needed to ask them to come take our order, at which time the server said"

It’s awesome. The people are awesome. Prices are good. Products are local and organic mostly but the ceiling is falling in. Needs major Renos for the amount of business they get.

Great food and service. I especially loved the waitress, Lilitt. She is from Frankfurt. Highly recommended place to wind down and enjoy.

We are from out of province and decided to try here based on Google ratings.
First and foremost, food was amazing and the portions were big. For food alone, 5/5 stars.
However for service, a disappointment.
Sign says please wait to be seated, however, the waitress/hostess seated the couple in front of us and would not even acknowledge us for about 10 minutes. We stood there, as she served, glanced our way, collected dishes. We didn’t know what was happening tbh.
Another lady seated us. The original waitress dropped off menus and water and took our orders. She dropped off the food. Other than orders, barely a word. Maybe my expectation for service is too much.
That was the last we saw of her. Not sure if a shift change or what but never once checked in, grabbed dishes, etc.
I went to the counter and paid. Tip option showed minimum 15%.
Now I understand this is a “bistro” but I am really not sure what I tipped.
The food was very good. Atmosphere was good. Very nice little place off the beaten track.
It was a very hot day so maybe that played a factor. A nice place, not sure I’d come back.
