Cool spot to stop in. We did after going to said dollar beach just down the road. Has alot of neat things and good food and some snacks for the road. Service was a little slow the day I was there, but, it was slow because it was busy! Tables were full and a steady stream of people coming in and out. Will be back

This is without a doubt one of the nicest little restaurants in Nova Scotia... The breakfast is super good! They bake their OWN Cookies, Cakes, etc...and their Coffee is delicious! It's a bit "crammed" where you sit... but everything else is just great!! They also have a Liquor store, and small grocery Store with some very cool specialty items!

large helpings, interesting menu, well cooked, and a liquor store as well. MAKE a stop there on your way to or from Hirtles

We had coconut tomato soup, mushroom gravy potine. Great lunch well made and service was awesome.
My friend and I were kinda lost and came across this place, and we were so grateful, we were hungry and in mood to shop. Loved the general store and even got a kiss from the cat there. We both had breakfast. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Even bathroom was unique. Service so nice. Coffee was great.

I really, really wanted to love this place… Unfortunately our lunch left us longing for more. I ordered the fish-n-chips, which were really overcooked (I left most of it on the plate, as the “ends” were too tough to chew). My friend ordered the pizza, which was pretty uneventful; very little flavour, cheese barely melted. (Both dishes can be seen in photo)We had hoped for more, while staying in the area. Unfortunately, we had to take our vacation dollars elsewhere.

Such a cute, cozy and welcoming spot for a hearty meal and a fantastic cappuccino! The food is all homemade and delicious, the prices are great and the general store has some great products. Highly recommend stopping in for a casual meal at the Rose Bay Bistro!

I recently dined at this charming restaurant. Nestled in Rosebay, NS, its rustic decor, and cozy atmosphere immediately made me feel at home. The friendly staff added to the welcoming ambiance, providing excellent service throughout my visit.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the lobster roll. It was a true culinary masterpiece. The lobster was tender, fresh, and generously portioned. The roll was perfectly toasted, adding a satisfying crunch to each bite. The combination of flavors and textures was simply heavenly.
Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem that offers not only delicious food but also a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast or simply looking for a great dining experience, I highly recommend giving it a try.
What a lovely place. It's almost a museum.
