Awesome beer and amazing events!
Great atmosphere for Trivia Night. Great beer ????
That was a wonderful evening. Great and tasty beer. (The Oyster Ale is very exciting!) We were able to chat with the brewmaster and even try the oysters after they were in the beer. Very nice atmosphere, there are also games etc., and an incredibly nice owner. “Cheers and cheers to you, Steve”
When we asked, it wasn't a problem at all that we could stay in the parking lot with the camper overnight. Unfortunately it is not possible on days with events.
There is also a restaurant, which was unfortunately closed.
There is live music here twice a month and pub quizzes every Thursday. Even open air music in the summer.
This place is a must-visit for anyone in the area. When we come back to Nova Scotia, Sober Island is already booked.
Found them through Terego. Very warm welcome and excellent beers that we drank with our dog on our side. Glad we found this place. We are traveling so we might not be back for a good while but took a few cans to go. :)

A truly phenomenal gem on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. Steve and Nancy were warm and welcoming and the beer and cider are lights out. Huge respect to Tim and his craft. This is a MUST visit to anyone lucky enough to find themselves in Sheet Harbour.
The oyster stout and IPA was very good. The owner and brewer was very personable. We got there just before opening time but they invited us in early.

Delicious saison and blueberry blonde
We visited off-season in winter. Home away from home. Stopped in for a game of crib, pets allowed and great beer. The owners are lovely and make sure you feel welcome. We will be back. Lots of love from Angus!
