We had lunch in this lovely restaurant with friendly staff while we waited for the ferry. We ate the fish & chips and fish tacos which were delicious! The carrot cheesecake was incredible!!

I tried their turkey dinner poutine while and vacatiom and I think it was the best thing ever. I'm skipping big turkey dinner for Christmas this year and trying it myself since I can't order it to Ontario !

Came home for a visit and had lunch here with a friend! Service was outstanding and food was delicious, fastest friendliest Service I've encountered in a very long time!

we went there on the weekend made reservations for 6:00pm that was fine. but when we were waiting for a Manu and no one came back until 20 mins later to take are order then had to wait another 25 mins to receive are order. no one came back to see how are order was and after we were done of are meal again waited 20 mins again for are bill to pay for are meal no one showed up . we had to go up to ask for the bill so we can pay. the woman at the till said there u go . NOT GOOD SERVICE. went to the washroom no paper towel and the wash room was really dirty . this was are first time eating there. must say food was good and tasty but service wise no so great

Perfect experience for a goodbye dinner. Crams as much nostalgia as possible in you, whether it be with the food or conversation!

We didn't have a bad time, but it wasn't outstanding either. My liver was overcooked. My wife's salmon parmesan was more breading than salmon. The pads in the booth catch your shoulders at an awkward angle.

First time here at The Miner's Daughter. Nice little family restaurant. Great decor! Service was fantastic as well as the food. I got the seafood chowder along with a grilled haddock dinner while the Mrs. and Mom got the hamburger steak dinners. All freshly made to order and tasty. ? Desserts change on the daily but we were too full from supper for them. Maybe next time!
