Staff was super friendly and helped us with the menu. I highly recommend trying out the hot pot combos, the combo for two people is loaded with lots of veggies and meat. One of the nicest meal options I've had in a while.
My husband and I went to Kai Pings yesterday for lunch after finding out the new owner also own Omma’s Korean bbq. (Which is another amazing spot btw)
We got three things off the menu to share, all of which were so delicious, very nice portions and inexpensive.
In my opinion this spot has the best Chinese food on the island.
First time visiting while visiting the area, and unlike the Ginger Chicken Jerk, I thought the food was fabulous. This is a quintessential Canadian Chinese restaurant, and I make it a point to eat at any I find. I grabbed takeout to take back to my hotel, but if lived in here, I would totally eat here on the regular. Food was fresh, piping hot, very flavourful and not greasy.
