I am giving this place 5 stars because for what it is, it delivers well. The food is basic - but tasty and reasonably priced for being on an island where everything must be taken over by boat! Lovely service, beautiful view, and very clean washroom. I encourage the owner to post a phone number so prospective clients can check in about changes in opening hours, or order in advance. He told us the phone number was online, but I think he is mistaken...

We came for a day trip and was the only place to eat, he was very friendly and the food was great! He let us take the bikes so we didn't have to walk. Very helpful for info about the island. Will definitely stop back the next time we come here.

Don’t come here for coffee! I cannot really judge the food. Prices on the menu looked okay and it looks like a cute little bistro. We just got two ( very small) filter coffees to go and paid $12. We were a little flabbergasted and asked if one coffee is really $6 but the owner confirmed saying it’s what it says on the menu and it’s including taxes and service. I don’t know if it’s some kind of special expensive bean, but it feels like a rip off. A little down the road we found a beautiful craft shop selling $1 coffee which was double the size and just as good.

We stopped in for a coffee, and to have lunch! But the kitchen was closed at 3:30 p.m But was able to get a breakfast sandwich, English muffin, with egg, cheese and bacon! It was good! Had no side dish! Two coffees in a take out cup! This cost $21.00

We took a day trip from Halifax to Big Tancook Island, and stopped at Patrick's Island Bistro for a late lunch before heading back to the ferry. After a day of walking all over the island, it was a welcome stop to rest and refuel. Between my husband, my little one and I, we shared bowls of chowder, a burger & fries and a beer smoked sausage on a bun with sauerkraut and grainy mustard. Huband had a beer and I had a glass of handmade lemonade. Husband and daughter loved the burger and the sausage was tasty and wonderfully spicy. The gentleman that served us (who I'm assuming is Patrick) also prepared our meals. He was very attentive and friendly. It's a tiny place with a tiny menu, but I'd recommend it anyone visiting the island.

Excellent service, he went the extra mile as the ferry was leaving in 15min and was able to get us something to go and not miss the boat.

Patrick’s is the place to go on Tancook for lunch and a beer. Amazing patio views of the ocean! Remember to bring cash. Patrick is incredibly kind and we will be back!

The best restaurant on the Island. Patrick is very friendly, and makes awesome tasty wraps. The coffee is freshly made.

When you leave the dock turn left and walk up the hill about two hundred feet and start your exploration at this hospitable little dining spot. Enjoy freshly ground and perc'd coffee and a meal whilst the other travellers go right and disperse allowing you to enjoy the island more privately.
