We were staying at the nearby Train Station Inn and stopped by Big Al's upon recommendation from a friend. It was quite busy - ended up finding a parking place out back and made our way in. Luckily we were able to be seated quite quickly.Staff were quite friendly and helpful, food was tasty and more than ample portions - we didn't go hungry here! Definitely will b back!

Great food. Had the Reuben and it was excellent. The mussels are also very good. Dessert selection could be better but really I'm just picky about pie. Lowkey understaffed so be nice to the servers they are very friendly people.

Stopped in for lunch and tried their Lobster Roll. I don’t recall ever eating a Lobster Roll before so I cannot provide a comparison. I can tell you that it was dripping with sauce (mayo?) inside a large bun. Honestly, given another opportunity, I would order something else as the sauce overpowered the taste of the lobster. Very friendly staff and good service.

We were driving on rans canadian highway towards This restaurant is awesom from Oromacto Cheticamp. We were looking for some good restaurans and stumbled onBig Al's. A very good options in the menu for adults and kids. The people were very friendly and food was served fast too. Amazing taste, can't get over it, a must visit place. Don't fotget to taste the dessert. My favourite was Spongey Toffee cake.
Great food and service! We especially liked the seafood platter with chowder, but everything we ordered was delicious. We came in with our 2 young kids and they brought toys out for our restless toddler to play with. Kept her busy for ages and we got to enjoy a family dinner without chasing her around! When we are back in the area next summer we will be going back ?

Me and my wife have been trying to make it here for years! Every time we would be going through it would be unfortunately closed (Closed Monday and Tuesday btw), which was completely just bud luck on our part. Food was great, and the staff were wonderful! I would recommend this place to anyone that is passing through if you want some great food, and a nice sit down environment. Bathrooms were clean, if maybe a little bit small (Men's anyway), but once again, you couldn't ask for more friendly staff.
