Unique experience however not good value for the cost for the meal. Very small portions.

Stay away unless you're coming for the train.

Food was unremarkable as was the service, only saving grace was the atmosphere. Beef "tenderloin" was supposed to be med-rare (I'm 99% it was a different cut passed off as tendy) and everything else on the plate was over cooked, which explains why it took so long, as well as underseasoned. Our server served, cleared, and billed every table that came in after us long before us; causing us and our six-year-old and three-month-old to wait over half an hour for the bill, in a restaurant with only 10 tables.

Climb aboard for a trip to delicious flavours, a menu that made it hard to choose, and warm, professional service! A thoroughly enjoyable evening

Absolutely fantastic food and dining experience! Limited seating (4 to a table) but a must try if you are in the area!

Kid-friendliness: Good options on kids menu and they’ll love being able to eat on a train!

The restaurant looks very nice, impressive that is in the old train and we had very nice and quick service. The food was not that awesome, especially for the price. The stuffed chicken was a joke, the house soup also not impressive. And the portions pretty small.

The ambiance is quite lovely 🥰 we had 6:30p reservations, it was busy with not enough staff it seemed, our server Beth was too busy. We waited over twenty minutes for water. A family that was sat 30 mins after us received their orders before we did. We finally received our food at 8:03p. We spent two hours dining because the service was slow. I had the grilled cheeses, and vegetable soup special. My friend had the salmon and wasn’t impressed. The lobster dip was pretty good. The canned hard seltzer is not good. All in all I liked it for the novelty dining experience and would recommend!

We had a lovely visit for our anniversary and we had a decadent dessert in the dining car. What a fun time.

We were happy to find this place on our way from PEI to Halifax. Our experience was all we can ask for; good food, ambience and a lunch to remember. I highly suggest the Emperor Salad and the smoked ham panini. My husband had the seafood chowder which was okay but after being in PEI having chowder wherever we went the competition was high. I highly suggest making a stop for lunch here. We would totally plan on staying in one of the rail cars for a night next time.
