Held a corporate event here, for the second year in a row. The food options are varied and high quality, and the room is very spacious with good acoustics, excellent views, and plenty of natural light, as well as very close to amenities. The staff are highly service and satisfaction focused, and unobtrusive - they just quietly come in and provide food and beverages without any interruption or distraction.
We always have excellent service here and this time was no exception. Pheebie was our server and she was so pleasant and helpful. Live music on Friday nights is fun and the food is always good. This visit we had fish and chips and pan-fried haddock. The truffle fries are delicious. On previous visits we’ve had the braised beef and the seafood chowder and those dishes were very good as well.
We had arrived about 20 minutes early to learn they had forgotten about our reservation, but the hostess was able to put something together for us quite quickly. We were sat in the board room and unfortunately the windows had no cranks and remained shut. Our friends have accessibility limitations and unfortunately there was a sandwich board in the accessible parking. I had ordered an old fashioned which was 90% water and crushed ice so that was unfortunate. The food was ok but...
