“Stopped in for brunch around 10:30 on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised how quiet and easy the parking lot was compared to the dinner rush I remember from a previous trip through Nova Scotia. The chicken dinner platter came out fast and hot, with real mashed potatoes and gravy that tasted homemade rather than reheated. Our server kept the coffee topped up without us ever having to ask, which after a long drive was exactly the kind of small touch that stands out. The dining room has that classic roadside-chalet feel with big windows looking out over the parking area and passing traffic, comfortable rather than fancy, and it worked perfectly for a relaxed morning meal.“
