Great British Grub cafe Reviews

I thought i was the only person from Lancashire in NS but I guess not. Great food, reminded me of pies from back home I even grabbed a couple of cheese and onion to take home.Highly recommend
Had an enjoyable meal on the weekend. Fish cakes and eggs: fish cakes were moist & flavorful and all was gluten friendly (gluten intolerant). Great service, as always. Highly recommend GBG!❤️

Great British Grub cafe offers a delicious mushroom, broccoli quiche and apple, lemon layer cake. They provide alternative options like grilled tomato or mushrooms. With a variety of in-house baking and pies, including a steak and cheddar pie, raisin cookie, and millionaire shortbread square, this cafe is both affordable and tasty. Customers are excited to return for breakfast. Visitors often praise the food, especially the pie and mash, which are considered some of the best they’ve had. The place is cozy and full of local people, making it a popular spot. The staff are friendly and thoughtful, adding to a warm dining experience. During the summer, the cafe even offers a Plowman’s Lunch, and the large English breakfast is so generous that many customers split it in two, enjoying the leftovers as dinner later that day. Customers have noted the fantastic food and great value, with many expressing their enjoyment of the friendly staff. Although some have mentioned a strong smell of cigarettes when passing the kitchen, the staff always try their best to provide a welcoming experience. Overall, it’s a fun and charming place to enjoy traditional British food at great value, making it a little gem worth visiting.
