Mixed feelings about this one due to the lack of ambiance, so sad. The food was good - not exceptional, prompt service, good menu and wines, but the lights were too bright. To give your guests a better dining experience and ambiance, you need softer lighting and more comfortable seating with padded chairs. Please consider adding dimmer switches, as it would make a huge difference. Still worth a visit for special occasions.

Went her for a snack and we saw the menu, ended up having dinner after seeing the steak with lobster sauce on the menu lol. The restaurant is very cute, nice atmosphere and very clean. The staff are so friendly and courteous. Saw the steak on the menu and I had to have it. We also ordered the scallops with the homemade pasta. The steak was perfectly cooked, medium rare and just sooo tender. The baked potato was smothered with a creamy cloister sauce and it was out of this world. Wow. The sauce also had chunks of lobster, wow, wow, wow. The scallops were perfectly cooked, nice and juicy, tasted perfect. The homemade pasta was excellent. This place has become one of favourite restaurants in the area.

One of the BEST meals I have ever had. I ordered the tenderloin steak with the baked potato with creamed lobster. It was amazing. The steak was soft and seasoned well it melted in my mouth. The lobster was perfectly cooked in the crème sauce which completed the filet well. My husband ordered the seared scallops and home made pasta. We walked out stuffed but not in a heavy way despite the crème sauce. I also had a blueberry mojito, which was very good. The server was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed despite how busy they were. We wanted to go back on our way out of town but they will be closed on that day, unfortunately. Make a reservation as they are quite busy.
A bit far from the city, but of course the journey there is always worth it. The food was very tasty and the service was great. The salads were cleverly made and the main courses looked very good. The gnocchi was very good and so was the steak. If you are nearby you are welcome to try it.

I will be dreaming about the halibut hodge podge until I die. Every dish we enjoyed was incredibly well thought out and delicious. Intentionally sourced ingredients, you can feel the love in every single bite. An absolute must stop for anyone travelling down the south shore of Nova Scotia- incredible dining experiences do not stop at Lunenburg. Thank you to Kylie and team. We can’t wait to come back!
