“Absolutely amazing.You know those ancient stories about the end of the world and terrible monsters and black grounds and the land that belches fire? This is exactly the opposite of that.Phenomenal sundaes and a huge number of different flavours of ice cream and toppings. The staff is really friendly and the decor is like a 1950s ice cream shoppe (so cool it's more than a shop) meets Candyland. The ice cream tastes like it was gently made beneath the wings of angels and was probably blessed by an ancient, holy hermit before being served up. It's like...sacred ice cream.This is really the place to go when you're craving something cool and sweet. 10/10 would gorge myself again.”

“We traveled to Yarmouth on the ferry. I asked two of the workers for a good dinner spot, nothing fancy, just good food. They quickly recommended The Dinner Plate. After debarking, we drove down Water Street and easily found the spot. However, we arrived ten minutes before closing. The owner was outside as we realized this and although we offered to look elsewhere, he was insistent that we come in and order even when we said take out would be absolutely fine and appreciated. We received excellent service from the waitresses, great conversation with the owner about his travels and wonderful food. My husband had the fried haddock and scallops; I had the Rappie pie - a plate full delicious comfort food! ($18.95/$9.95 cad respectively) Sorry, no pictures but we 10/10 recommend!”

“A great place to come try out beers. They have a fantastic variety- mostly their own but with a few other locals in tap. I get the impression the owners really care about what they do. No food here, but there's often a food truck just outside. Well worth visiting and great prices.”

“I asked on social media where the best Donairs in Yarmouth were and this place got twice as many votes as the second runner up! And I did try both places and they were not wrong! My kids love the Donair pizza! But today I got the Shawarma platter and they generously swapped out the fries for rice! I also tried a donair eggroll for the first time ever that was pretty awesome but the Shawarma. Oh my goodness the Shawarma! It was the best I've ever had - beyond compare - I am blown away! Every single ingredient was flawless! I would call them and thank them if that wasn't a little weird! And even though I dropped eight dollars in change into the tip jar I feel like I should go back and give a tip to the cook alone! ❤️”

“We visit Yarmouth several times a year from Alberta and always have to include a meal at HoneyBees! The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We have loved everything we’ve tried but the beef teriyaki is my favourite. As much as I love seafood while we are home it is nice to have such an amazing alternative as well. “Went there with a friend for my Birthday. Marco's had a special on my favorite...fish and chips. The Haddock had a light coating and was tender and full of flavor. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. For desert I had strawberry shortcake cheese cake. The service put a candle on it. The cake was delishious. Marco's is the place to go when you want to feel special and well treated.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp up to the entrance.”

“Well it was our first time eating here.I follow Harv's Place on Facebook.It is not a fancy place but when you are served great food it really doesn't matter.Our waitress was awesome ? she was wonderful with us my husband had the burger and fries he said it was one of the best he has had, I had the special fish clam and fries very good.It was a farley busy place and there was no wate.We will surely be back.Thanks again.Heather and Dave”

“Quick at the drive thru, always busy in the mornings and lunch times.. here’s a trick, order via the app and just run inside to grab your coffee. So much faster than sitting in your car for 15 minutes when there dozens of people idling their vehicles. Then you can go and sit by the bay and chill while you look over the bay.”

“I just got home from Wendy's. I went in to buy 3 baconators and a spicy chicken burger. A lady named Rhonda was at the counter talking to 2 customers that were already served. She yelled to the lady who was out cleaning "You have a guest". The lady was finishing what she was doing, which was fine by me, and yet Rhonda yelled again "You have a guest", turns around, walks away from the counter and says (which im guessing she didn't think i heard) "I'm not waiting on her!" and proceeded to go into the back with the cooks. I could not believe she was so rude to do that. I have gone to Wendy's before and have never had any trouble, but let me tell you, if that happens again, I will be calling Rhonda out on her rude BS. Absolutely, 100% unacceptable. I have worked in retail and the food industry, and her attitude is not acceptable behavior!! Without customers, she would not have a job..she could certainly show more respect then walking away. #NotAHappyCustomer!!”

“Was visiting in Yarmouth from Ontario for a week and needed a good quick breakfast each morning, we decided to try A&W and was very pleased. We had the breakfast sandwich combos and coffee, food was good and the coffee was great! We also stopped at A&W on our long drive back to Ontario, very delicious for take-out.”
