If I could, I would give this bakery a million stars. I love that it's a little in and out shop, it's always warm and full of life. I love that you can see everyone working and interact with everyone. I love that they give my dog the sourdough bread ends. This is just when you get in the door... Once one of their coffee cakes hit your palate, you will never be able to even look at another coffee cake again. I don't even like coffee cake, but I LOVE their coffee cake. The pizza buns are absolutely delicious. The croissants...! Flaky, buttery, delectable. Their babkas are dense yet fluffy, so fantastic. My partner and I are just in love with this bakery. Obsessed is an understatement. Highly, highly recommend!

The absolute best bakery for bread and baguettes anywhere in Nova Scotia! Their sweet items like cookies, coffee cakes and scones, are also fantastic. But you can get descent pastries in a lot of bakeries. What really makes Bedard special is the baguettes and bread. It's like what you would find in a Boulangerie in France. The crust is crunchy while the inside is fluffy. Get here early as they can sell out fast. There's always a small lineup but it moves quickly.

This bakery has the best sourdough baguettes we’ve had in Nova Scotia so far! We also tried a few of their pastries and chocolate chip cookies, and everything was absolutely to die for. This will definitely be a stop for us every time we’re driving nearby. Highly recommend!
