Hole in the wall has a variety of vegan options, and their weekly specials, dessert, and destination dining menus always make sure to have something vegan available. Staff is excellent about dietary restrictions, the quality is great as well.

Meh. I can make better at home. The Italian wedding soup had no pasta in it, it should have been called celery onion soup with meatballs. I like spicy food, but such should be indicated on the menu. My wife’s mussels also had quite a spicy kick in the broth.
Mains - The braised beef was good, but my homemade beef bourgignon is better. My pad Thai was incredibly starchy, not very spicy at all, with a bland flavour profile (very peanut heavy), not the intricate blend that you’d expect from pad Thai.
Dessert was okay, but the lack of a crust on the Turtle cheesecake was disappointing, with candied pecans taking its place.
Overall, the atmosphere is cool, service was so-so (server was polite, but when I went to pay at the register, the other lady working there looked at me, with my bill in hand, and kind of gave me a “what’s up?”. So again, meh. Thankfully, the prices weren’t outrageous, and I was happy to see Propeller Galaxy on tap!

Parking: Lots of parking spots, either directly outside on the street, or right across the road in a parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: As the dining area is very cozy, I do not recommend bringing children unless they are well trained in how to sit and mind their manners.

Absolute gem. Stellar food, great service!

Lasagna tasted like authentic Italian cuisine. Schwarma bowl was fantastic as well. Tasty seafood chowder. Onion and garlic dip was amazing.

With a limited number of tables, it provides a beautiful atmosphere for couples dining out. Table service was top notch and everyone enjoyed the most excellent meal.

I have nothing bad to say about this place!
My husband and I were here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon when driving through Windsor. We loved each thing we ordered and shared. Had two glasses and a reusable glass bottle of cold water, that was exchanged when we finished the first. Fast service and attentive.
I started with a café amaretto and we shared the lobster dip. It came with salted rice crackers and delicious bread. I asked about the salmon eggs Benedict if there was a chance I could get it dressed more as their salmon crepe (adding cream cheese) and it was amazing. My husband got the pesto chicken sandwich and they offered the full and it was also a great choice! I love pesto and it had such a nice soft, smoky taste from the bacon. Both our dishes came with the potatoes and those were so good. Excellently seasoned and needed nothing else.
We did have another order delivered to our table by another server who made a small mistake, but they were quick to fix it and everything was well timed. I would recommend this place, it is kid friendly and they have a nice little patio too!

Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately there is no ramp that I had seen, and small steps inside and also to use the bathroom which also is not accessible.

Hole in the wall is my new favourite place in Windsor! We have dined here multiple times (inside and out on the patio) and have ordered takeout, and the food is amazing every time. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is inviting and cozy. The highlights for me have been the chicken pesto club, beef dip sandwich, and the eggs benny! Highly recommend if you are looking for a spot to dine or get takeout in Windsor.

Some of the vegetables in the food were not washed. I could clearly see dirt in the vegetables in the Thai, the noodles were also very overcooked. Probably not the most common thing ordered. But with a limited menu, I would expect something decent. The service and atmosphere were alright. But dang, 25$ overcooked noodles and poorly cleaned veg is not ideal.

I have eaten several times at the Hole In The Wall Restaurant. We have sat on the patio, dined indoors and ordered takeout. I tend to order the gluten-free fungi pizza because it is absolutely amazing. The best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. However, I have also had or dined with people having and tried their food: the pad Thai, cauliflower and Gruyere soup, Caesar salad and the chicken pesto sandwich, their lemon dessert and crème brûlée. Favourite waitress is Sue who adds to the dining experience with her exuberant personality. All of the wait staff are friendly and informative. The atmosphere is great; there are cozy blankets for the patio area & the service is quick & attentive. I particularly enjoy the chalk board menu, which is very well executed.

Food is absolutely delicious, we had the bisquits, the butcher pizza, seafood chowder, and for my little one pasta with tomatoe sauce… I could not believe how good everything was, and service is 5 stars but I would give them 10 if I could! Its one of my favourites places in Nova Scotia, and its my Wife’s favourite chowder and also her favourite pizza in the province.

Dietary restrictions: They have great Gluten Free options

Parking: I found a parking spot rifht around the corner

Kid-friendliness: They dont have a kids menu, but they have kids friendly food like pasta. No fries or nuggets, but they have pizza
