If you had asked me after my first experience here, I would have absolutely said yes, 5 stars. The risotto was amazing the first time and I couldn't wait to come back to have it again. However, my husband and I came in yesterday and my risotto was severely undercooked. It was hard and crunchy. My husband tried it and agreed it was inedible. I had to send it back. When the waitress arrived back with a new plate, she stated that the chef "cooked it as long as he could and if it still wasn't enough, I could choose something different". It was slightly better, but honestly not great. It was also extremely greasy. I ate half. I was very hungry by this point and my husband had long since finished his meal. Perhaps something needs to be addressed with the consistency of the dishes being served.
We went for lunch a couple weeks ago, I had the Beef Bolognese and my sister had the cauliflower and Gruyère soup and Turkey sandwich on focaccia. For dessert we had the vanilla creme brulee. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.
(Note - The Beef Bolognese was so delicious I had it again a few nights ago for dinner and it unfortunately was nothing like the dish I had in these pictures, hopefully it was a one-off and they remain consistent going forward).

We just did a two week trip through Nova Scotia. We stopped in Windsor for lunch enroute to our next destination. We were so glad we did! We had seafood chowder several times on the trip. This was by far the best bowl. My partner ordered the butter chicken and the sauce was absolutely delicious.

The name sounds so unassuming but it’s actually a really nice restaurant with great outdoor seating. Grab the delicious vegan peanut noodles
Everyone enjoyed their meal and that is a hard thing to accomplish for us as usually one person doesn’t. Everything seemed fresh, portions were just right and flavours were great.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at The Hole in the Wall Restaurant. We started with Aperol Spritzes, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our main courses; I had the braised beef, and my wife had the seafood linguini.
The service was exceptional, especially from Mary, who offered great suggestions and was very knowledgeable about the feature menu. We were also delighted when Deborah, the owner, stopped by our table to check in on us.
Thank you for a truly memorable evening!

Pizza crust was dried out. Was actually the worst pizza I’ve ever had in Nova Scotia. I feel bad giving negative review but want to save others from wasting their money

The best spot in Windsor.
Food was just ok. Chicken and waffles arrived overcooked chicken with black batter. Was very dry. Charged for two extra syrup without telling us ($3). Overall, not impressed. Service was good though.
