The rudest employees in all of Nova Scotia. We were not welcomed or spoke to by a single employee. They wouldn’t even explain their beers to us!!! Support other breweries and wineries where they appreciate their customers. Avoid this brewery at all costs!

Horton Ridge Malt & Grain offers a welcoming atmosphere with delicious beer, including the popular Sunshine brew. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing a great experience for visitors, mostly locals. The focus is on their own malt, offering a refreshing change from the abundance of IPAs. Customers can enjoy hop-forward IPAs and NEIPAs, as well as delicious malt-based brews.
The on-site food truck serves great but limited pub choices, with the Turkey dinner poutine being a standout dish. Guests can also bring their own food to enjoy with the wide selection of drinks, including the brewery's own brews, local beers, wine, mimosas, and non-alcoholic options.
The venue boasts a gorgeous location on the side of the countryside hills, with a fantastic view that is worth a visit, even with the ongoing construction in the area.
