Excellent chicken sandwich.
Juniper is up there with any small plate dining experience I’ve ever had across the East Coast of Canada/US. Highly recommend.
Little gem of a restaurant in central Wolfville. Charming staff. Definitely book in advance
Wondefully currated menu, excellent service. The dishes were very well executed and looked beautiful. I really love the atmosphere and the music choice was spot on. My favourite restaurant in Wolfville. Lovely night.
Came for brunch, really sweet spot. Tasty dishes and friendly service. Their chicken liver mousse was especially delicious!
Mushroom soup was amazing. Fish taco and fried chicken sandwhich were both unreal. I don’t know what I’m going to do with the rest of my life after this. 11/10

Great service but the food was kind of disappointing. I had the Pork Milanese, which was not very good. She had the beef striploin, and that was good but not outstanding. The Digby scallop crudo was terrific though. All of that, a couple glasses of wine and a few oysters for $200 with tax and tip. It didn't really feel worth it, but I'm glad I went to give it a try at least.

Initially we were surprised to see how small the place was and not a lot of ambiance, but wow the food, Probably seating for only about 20 people and a somewhat open kitchen. The menu changes to what is fresh and it was a bit late in the season so it was a bit limited. We started with the beef tartare which was different from what we expected as it had an Asian twist but it was delicious. Also had the oysters with the chefs own fresh hot sauce, also tasty. My wife had the crispy skin salmon which was supposed to come with leaks and peppers but she doesn’t like peppers so the chef graciously whipped up a fantastic cauliflower with hazelnut brown butter which was fantastic. I had the pork Milanese with prosciutto basil green beans which was exceptional. If you have room for it don’t miss the chocolate eclair for desert, it is heavenly.

We happened upon Juniper and were at first concerned about the very limited menu. But the offerings intrigued us and we gave it a try. Every item we tried was superb, from the seasonal cocktails to the potato beignets, our entrees and the popcorn creme brulee (the creme brulee was amazing, not sure about the popcorn🤔) It was an amazing find and I would definitely go again-but I live in California.😕

Always an exceptional experience at this intimate gem of a restaurant in the heart of downtown. Whether you’re inside to see the bustle of the kitchen and all the amazing dishes coming out, or sitting on the patio enjoying a fall evening with outdoor heaters, you’re in for a great meal.
The staff are always so attentive and knowledgeable, you will not be disappointed!

Love this restaurant! They change some of their menu seasonally, and I love trying the different gnocchis - they have a different one every time I go, and tonight’s was incredible! Great service, and even got to sit outside despite it being a chillier evening, as they had a lovely outdoor heater keeping us warm!
