Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards

My husband and I got married at Lightfoot & Wolfville on September 6, 2025. They’ve thought of everything! This really felt like the closest thing to “all inclusive” - food, bartending, chairs, place settings are all part of the booking here. You can choose to upgrade things like chairs or place settings, but I had no desire to be worrying about those kind of decisions and what they have is very tasteful already. There is a solid backup plan if you have to make any changes related to weather. Your guests can leave their cars overnight and pick them up in the morning. The venue is stunning, so you don’t even need to add much in the way of decor or florals. The menu tasting was so much fun - but be sure to pace yourself, because there is A LOT of food!! We had our ceremony outside, dinner downstairs in the barrel cellar, and the reception upstairs in the bar and lobby area (the outdoor tent is unavailable after Labour Day weekend). Kori Lightfoot is the primary contact for weddings and she is a dream to work with. So responsive and accommodating. Kori and her team go above and beyond to make your day incredibly special. The food is INCREDIBLE!! Our guests raved about it and have continued to make comments about it in the weeks following.

Great building, great wines, great food. Liked the pizza's a lot. Our server Jenny (I think this was her name) was an absolute delight!

L&W is a beautiful vineyard! If you go for a tasting the wines are fantastic, and they even have non-alcoholic flight options! If you go for a meal they have the best pizzas (and pizza crust dips)! L&W, I’ll be back!

The pizzas are devine and the vineyard is gorgeous and the service is excellent..I was visiting Nova scotia but if I ever go back I will come back to this vineyard

Lovely winery to stop at for a spot of lunch. Food was pretty good. Nice atmosphere all around!

We had planned to go to another winery but they wouldn't allow our dog so we chose Lightfoot! It was such a good atmosphere and they were so welcoming with our cockapoo which was our priority. The flights were great and the price was reasonable.

I am waiting for 1h as I write this review. Plenty of empty tables the whole time. I'll never return.

Lightfoot & Wolfville has an extensive patio - indoors and out - which provides a view of their stunning vineyard and mud flats. Tasting flights were all amazing and staff was super friendly - even allowed us a taste of Tidal Bay when we didn’t get it in the flight.

Great atmosphere, views and service. The pizza was great.

Top notch food for the area

I do love their wine, however, the restaurant service needs to be reviewed.

They do not take reservations for the restaurant for groups under 6 people. We arrived at around 2:30pm and asked for a table. We were told there would be a 45 min wait but we could sit at the tasting area and order snacks. We ordered snacks and after an hour of waiting they came and they told us a table at the restaurant area was ready. We shuffled over to the dining area with our snacks and wine flights and it took a while for us to get service to order food from the restaurant. Long story short, they stop serving food at 4pm and we were only served our food at 5pm. So, we essentially waited 2 and a half hours for food. Also, we think they used leftover dough as we were one of the last pizzas they made for the day and it was half the size of the other pizzas served to other guests.

The food was great, the servers were friendly, but be warned, they are super busy and are not realistic of their capacity to seat and serve people. Be prepared to wait or get on the list and go to another winery until you are texted with their availability...and then be prepared to wait some more- at least in the summer months :)

What an amazing spot. We have neen there a few times to sample and purchase some wine on our stays. Today we stayed for lunch and it didnt disappoint. Fantastic food , service and atmosphere. Cant wait to see you again soon

The favorite part of our vacation was eating at Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards. The food and wine was remarkable. Kevin's service was superior. The view and atmosphere are memorable.
