Paully Rides To Food

So we stopped by. They had said they were going to be open at 11:00, it was 11:40 and they were still closed so hopefully next time they'll be open. This is just a shot from the outside. Looks pretty cool. There was another fella at the front door after I got there and he was told the same thing that they would be open at 11:00. So he was shocked that they were still closed. He's been going there a long time. He remembers when it was an actual church so it was cool to meet him. Parking is not the best but it is what it is.

Food was delicious, service was incredible, we all enjoyed our meal, and the vibe in the restaurant! We will definitely be back!

The Church is a wonderful brewery/restaraunt nestled in the quaint college town of Wolfville. The building itself is a beautifully reconditioned church with a fabulous inside as well as outside landscaping that adds flavor to the whole experience. The food is some of the best I've had in Nova as many of the ingredients are from local farmers in the valley and beyond. The list of brewed beer is fabulous as well as offerings from local wineries. And the staff is so friendly and inviting. Myself and my team at photographinginthemoment (insta) truly enjoyed the experience and will be back.

The wife and I took a nice Fall drive on a Sunday to eat here for her first time.

Super unique dining experience in an old church.

We had a bit of a wait for a table (about 30 minutes) but the food was fantastic, service was excellent as well.

I had fish & chips. She had the turkey bacon club. They have a great selection of in-house brewed beers, but neither of us were feeling a drink today.

All in all, it was a great experience. We'd go back again.

Disappointing to come at 4pm in the afternoon see 10 empty tables on the outside and be told a 45 minute wait. Typically with wait times like that it’s because all tables are full. Clearly understaffed and should look at better managing the schedule better.

Great place for food and beer.

Service was absolutely garbage

I had a real good meal!

The first time I went, the food was amazing. The second time, good. The third time will probably be my last, the hibiscrus drink was nice but my chicken sandwich was cold- not fridge cold, but lukewarm at best, and had such a small amount of meat that the half of the bun I left on the plate had less than a bite of chicken in it.

Really nice space for a casual bite in wolfville; the service was great and and nice variety of food. The chicken tostadas were delicious but the burger was pretty dry and the fries were just ok. It's a bit expensive for what you're getting but still relatively good.

We were at The Church Brewing Co. last evening for my husband's surprise 70th birthday party and it was amazing! Working with Erin to organize the event was a breeze. She made it effortless. The staff were great and the food was very good as well. Highly recommend the bacon Porter cheeseburger! The chef even made a German chocolate cake with raspberry filling for the event and it was to die for! We'll be back!

Love the beer, tried it at several businesses in Halifax. Dropped in to support local business however was deeply disappointed with rude staff! Went to the front counter asking for an outdoor seat for two, plus a dog and was told 20min wait. Not sure why that long but gave name and number, was willing to wait. It was a beautiful, sunny, warm fall day and was told couldn’t stand outside in a high traffic area and wait. The patio only had 4 spots taken about 90% empty, inside there were lots of empty tables as well. We asked about the wait time and one staff said well if you don’t want to wait go somewhere else. When they called us for a seat 6minutes later saying they had a table we simply said sorry it was a little too disorganized and moved on, to which they replied sounds good. Unfortunate experience otherwise beautiful day.

Went for beer and dinner. The beer was great. Service was lovely. The chicken burger was small but tasty. Fries were hot and crispy. The salmon was not worth it.

Pretty church turned Restaurant/bar. Food barely passable. Nice place for drinks with friends.

The waitress was awful never seen her , our food arrived wrong and when he complained she stated that we ate most of it . The burger was very dry , the summer salad was swimming in dressing and the lettuce was huge . The Church was beautiful but sad that food and service was so disappointing.

Another excellent dinner (but I forgot the pictures). Warm and inviting atmosphere. Tagliatelle was delicious but quite rich. I could only eat half. The salmon bowl dinner equally excellent. Friendly service on point. I feel pricing may have gone down since my last visit? Will be back next visit.
