Well worth the 1 hour drive from Halifax to Wolfville. I tried the espresso milkshake with chocolate as the base ice cream and hands down it's the best one I've had.Will definitely be heading back to Wolfville just for this milkshake.Also! They have swings as a seating option! Who doesn't love sitting on a swing while having an ice cream or a milkshake?? This is a must try place.

We were visitors from out-of-town and really fell for the ice cream at this place. We visit many of those 'highly recommend' places, but found this one so much more authentic and enjoyable. Run by a couple, they do everything themselves (including making the ice cream) and are very interesting to speak to if you can catch them at a time when the store is not over-run with customers! A definite must if you are in Wolfville!!

Lots of amazing and homemade choices. Adding to this bit of ice cream heaven was gluten free waffle cones ! We live an hour away from Wolfville, but this delightful little shop is worth the drive.

The Real Scoop is one of my favorite things about Wolfville. The owners are so friendly and committed to their business. The ice cream is the best I’ve ever had! They also have a discount for Acadia students. If you’re in Wolfville or just passing by I highly recommend stopping at the Real Scoop. You’ll be happy you did…unless it’s a wednesday and they’re closed :)

I got what I thought was gonna be an abomination.Chocolate base with cinnamon roll, brownie, and cookie dough. It was surprisingly really good. Cool, creamy, gritty, with a touch of cinnamon heat. Serving size is very generous

All of their ice cream and waffle cones are made on site, and the smell of freshly baked waffle cones will leave you feeling comforted and happy. They serve milk shakes, ice cream in a cone or waffle bowl, and offer a variety of combinations with the option to add additional toppings. The additional toppings list is too long to share but includes everything from brownies to skor and gummies. The interior design boasts several swings that bring out the child in even the grumpiest of adults. Picnic tables and comfortable anorondek chairs on a covered porch make this place a great location for relaxing and spending time with family and friends. For Expresso lovers, they serve Java Blend Coffee Roaster, and if floats or chocolate are what you crave, they have lots! Will definitely be back!

Possibly the best ice cream I've ever had! I ordered the vanilla w/ blueberry & cheesecake. My husband had vanilla with cookie dough. They were both really really good. It's not like the ingredients are mixed into the ice cream... it's like they become part of the ice cream. The machines they use here are something I've never seen before... someone after me ordered a chocolate milkshake; they literally put two big frozen chocolate bars & a little cream in this machine, gave it a push and out popped a delicious milkshake. If you're lucky enough to be in Wolfville, you have to come to Scoops!
