Before we moved to the Valley, we skipped this place because the place didn't look like anything special and we decided to make time for bigger more 'popular' spots nearby. I'm so glad we decided to give this winery a try because it's our absolute favourite local wine! Not as huge of a setting as some of the others in the area, it's a more laid back feel with really great staff. Their reds are bold and dark and perfect for sitting on the shore watching the sunset (or sunrise if you've been up all night!). The place isn't huge but it does get busy with bus/wine tours so be mindful of that. Sitting on the patio is great because it's covered so even a maritime rain doesn't stop you from sitting outside. We didn't have a chance to try the food as they were in the process of hiring kitchen staff after pandemic closures but judging by their friendly staff and accessible location, we're sure to try it when we're back in a few weeks.
