Grandma's Kitchen Reviews
The fresh fish was delicious. I loved that it wasn't breaded. We also had Muktuk. Loved it.
Grandma came out and talked to us. Food was good and fire was warm.
Great experience. Mama was such a nice and fun person to meet. We ate in beach house with best view. We got the last veggie burger which I’m sure was home made. It made our experience in Tuk complete.

Grandma's Kitchen offers great burgers, fries, and onion rings, all served by the owner. The dining room features big windows with views of the rocky beach and the Arctic Ocean. Joanne's homemade buns make the hamburgers delicious, and the chicken wings have a tasty, zippy sauce. The best MacMuskox in the Arctic. The atmosphere is hard to be beaten. Forget the guide Michelin, go north and try Muktuk. You won't regret!
The wait might be a bit longer, but the fresh, made-to-order food is worth it. Kid-friendly and highly recommended. Parking is relaxed near the building. The restaurant is so eclectic and so much fun, the owner and her granddaughter were just so delightful. Visitors often enjoy the charming setup: they order at the small white kitchen building and wait in the cozy blue dining building, which offers lovely views of the Arctic Ocean. The service is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who make the experience special. Sometimes, Grandma is busy playing bingo, so Grandpa steps in to accommodate guests and serve homemade beef and vegetable soup with a bun. They also get to try Muktuk (whale blubber) and dryfish, which many find loved. The restaurant offers local crafts for sale, supporting the community, and items are brought piping hot to the beach house, which is perfect after a dip in the ocean. The setting is charming, with a relaxed northern town vibe, and prices are typical for the area. Occasionally, flooding may affect access, so it’s good to check before visiting. Overall, Grandma's Kitchen provides great food, heartfelt hospitality, and a true community experience in a beautiful location.
