It’s probably the only doner or shawarma place in town. Pretty decent to my taste, you have a choice of chicken or beef. You can choose the sauces and veggies to go in your wrap. The menu is very small, they have some platters, but doner wrap is a specialty.
Main Street Donair is easily one of my favourite places to eat in Yellowknife. I’ve tried both the chicken platter and the beef shawarma, and both have been absolutely delicious every time. The meat is always flavorful, the portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh. The garlic sauce is amazing and really brings the whole meal together.
