Taqueria El Gavilan

It used to be my favorite place to eat. But when they shorted me and I called about it, they were very rude and told me, "I know I put it in there but fine I'll comp you for four free tacos." When I showed up, upset at being disrespected in a way I'd never been in a customer service situation, the owner's daughter slammed the window in my face. The owner chastised me for my attitude while her daughter made faces at me behind her and when I got upset, she gave me a ticket for the very back of the line and she called the police on me. It was beyond embarrassing being treated like a criminal when I only wanted what I paid for. Her daughter followed me out to my car and made a big deal about taking a picture of my license plate and when I said I wasn't leaving, she told me to shut up while I waited for my free tacos. I waited 45 extra minutes for the last of my order. And you know what? I didn't trust that they didn't mess with it. Super unprofessional. Obviously, they've lost my business.

Do not call/go up there and complain if they get your order wrong. They will call the cops on you and insult you. The customer service is atrocious. 0 stars.

Stopped for a lunch on my way home to Illinois, randomly passed this place on the way to McDonald’s and this will now be a routine stop whenever I’m out this way again. Don’t let the spot fool you, the food is A+.

hard to find good tacos and such..keep on driving.white tortillas,asada looked and tasted boiled not grilled,expensive.$3/taco and $11 torta.only good thing was the green salsa had a good kick to it.other than that leaves alot to be desired

I travel quite a bit for work and love to stop at random taco trucks I stumbke across furing my travels. Battlemountain is one of my frenquented locales and you can bet your butts that I'll be eating here every time. Without a doubt the best taco truck I have encountered in the NV region and I've been to more than I can count.Gracias por la gran comida!

Simply delicious! Drove through Battle Mountain for what was supposed to be just a gas and bathroom stop. Found this place and made an order. You will not be disappointed!

We stopped here on a whim while on a road trip to Washington. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food is! My man got street tacos and gave them 5 stars. I had a carne asada quesadilla and it was bomb. Highly recommend eating here. They are also friendly.

I stopped by this place on a long road trip and the food was hot, fresh and delicious!! My favorite part is that the food packaging did not contain any styrofoam!! They used paper plates and foil ?. Highly recommend

Amazing food truck! Low card taco is made with a shell of cheese! So glad we happened to stop here on our drive to Lake Tahoe!
