Food was really good, especially for the prices. Had a variety and nothing was bad. Waiter was prompt, however, seemed bothered by the fact that we were even there. Not sure if that was the case or if he was just very impersonal. That did.t bother me, but what did was how smokey the whole place was. My eyes were on fire the entire time. Restaurant as a whole was not clean.
Small cozy simple restaurant with a delicious Spanish omelet! After you order, you can hear the sizzling of the grill while you wait. Fresh fruit as a side is a treat in the desert town! Service is quick. Must stop at Gema's if you are passing through Beatty!!
The food was delicious. My husband had a smothered beef burrito and I had chicken with peppers, onions and cream sauce. The rice and beans were good as well.
It’s a very small place, and not fancy, but seemed clean. We could hear the chef chopping food in the back which leads me to believe they cook everything fresh. Prices were very reasonable. Based on our experience, I would recommend Gema’s.
