Excellent burgers and pizza. We will definitely go back, regularly, when we go to our cabin. I want to try the lasagna with a side salad. It's a Sunday special for $10.00.
Top place!
Food was fantastic and the atmosphere reminds you of a good old hometown bar. The locals are kind and inviting.
Stopped in for a late dinner and we were treated very kindly. Great burger & jalapeno poppers. There is a smoking section & non smoking, but since the non smoking is downstairs it doesn't drift in too bad. Lots of memorabilia on the walls too
Great food, but smoky with a rude & surly woman serving at the bar.
Crazy place, typical environment frequented by locals, screens with different sports, you can eat at the counter or at the tables, delicious burgers! Very friendly staff, an experience to have!!
Amazing place! Very high quality of food, just a shame about the slow service.
Well done
OMG! What an awesome place! We stopped in for drinks the first night (we had already eaten dinner). Everyone was so friendly. We were told the special the following night was Salisbury steak with mushroom gravy, green beans and mashed potatoes. I was thinking about it all day. It was awesome! The plate of food was $10 and it was huge. The green beans were cooked with onions and bacon and were to die for! The next night I had the $10 special again and it was spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread. Again, it was a huge portion and absolutely delicious. My husband had the BLT with onion rings. The sandwich was on toasted garlic bread. He said it was one of the best BLTs he's ever had. The onion rings....he'd go back to Beatty just to get those! Just a wonderful place to eat with local veterans, learn about Beatty and the best food for miles!
Great food at a great price! The jalapeño poppers are to die for! The bar had good vibes and good drinks. Sherri was a great bartender. Highly recommend.
Food was good but honestly the staff was so friendly. I asked if they had honey mustard and he made it for us! Everyone was kind and this place really gives a good experience for dining even though it’s so casual

The food here was very good and everyone was really nice and welcoming. Thank you Linda for sponsoring us! My reason for the 3 rating despite the food and people is the smoke. There is a no smoking area, but customers must go through the bar where the smoke is very heavy, to get to the smoke free part, and the smoke smells drift back to the other area. A bit unpleasant for non-smokers. However, it was great to see all the military paraphernalia and support the VFW. My comments are only to advise, not to discourage people from trying this place.
Most obvious thing is that the food is well priced and is very high quality. However, this does not do the place justice. The bar area has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere- I could have spent all evening chatting to the interesting people who come here.
Quaint little place and very inviting.
An improbable place. A veterans' club which also serves as a restaurant, all housed in an old chapel.
Make the detour, especially since the short but effective menu offers classic American cuisine. Good value for money
