This place has brought very good memories and good times, For my entire family for many years. It's sad to hear that it's being sold to a home developer. Bonnie springs is a hidden jem. Its a great little getaway from the city. The restaurant hear is good as well, and the people working hear are just as friendly. Will really be missed.

always surprised on how many people in Vegas haven't been here. Come up a couple times a year, food is alright but nice quick get away. Would recommend definitely if you have people in town and doing Red Rock loop

I am going to really miss THIS beautiful place. We have shared many wonderful memories here for the last 20 years. Thank you. So far it has been the best hot chocolate in front of the firepit!

Food was good, staff was friendly. Cute western ambience. Has a bar for adults but love the fact that the whole family could eat there. Nice lookout to the pond full of ducks and peacocks walking around. The firepit inside was beautiful.

Heaven. I feel like this is one of those places that people think may be gimicky as an "old western town" but it's so much more than that. They do have the "old western themed show and routine hanging/shooting scenes" but that being said, the people involved truly believe in this place and love it. They believe in what it provides, which is a refuge for unwanted, or unclaimed beautiful animals of all sorts. They are all so friendly and welcoming, and that's not just the peacocks and goats! There's also this lovely restaurant/bar attached where all are welcome and again, the staff is so kindly and truly believes in what this place provides. The scenery here at sunset is breathtaking. The property is so beautiful and fun to explore. I would 100% recommend and also be bringing all my people here because everyone deserves to explore a sort of heaven on earth. While I know there will be the complaints that the animals are caged and try to make a PC point that this current time seems to revel in; I will challenge that and say that these caregivers provide shelter, food, and pure love to these otherwise unwanted and uncared for animals. Might I add, they do get to roam free during the days...they all seemed so happy and I feel lucky we get to go here whenever we have the opportunity. It's a treasure in my opinion. Give it a visit if your in the area and leave your judgment at the gates as you enter.

Loved everything about this place. Pool was great, restaurant was delicious. Rooms were clean and homey. Staff was awesome. Old town very cute and the little animal sanctuary was great. We rode horses in the morning and it was very magical. Great if you have kids, but we were a couple alone and loved it.

Stayed in the "Spanish" tub room and went on a horseback ride the next morning (which is discounted for resort guests and includes a free breakfast). Overall a great experience -- every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. The television in our room didn't work (no TV channels) but not a big inconvenience considering everything else to do and see on the property. We even encountered a wild group of donkeys just outside our room at night. Would stay there again.

You have to be ready to experience this charming little slice of old Las Vegas! I remember coming up there with my family as a child and not much has changed. If you are looking for glamour and modern ambience...look elsewhere! If you are looking for great food (the BBQ was as good as any we've EVER had!) friendly and congenial service, a decent house Merlot, and Glen, an amazing singer accompanied by his excellent acoustic guitar playing...then drive on out! The view of the Red Rock Mountains alone is worth the trip! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it won't be another 25 years before we head back!

I went with my children so they could enjoy the petting zoo. The animals were very unkept and all looked sickly. I understand that some of them are "rescue animals" however the roosters and foul looked pitiful. The roosters looked like they had been fighting and most of the animals just looked gross and sad. I grew up with livestock, chickens, and peacocks so I know what healthy and happy animals look like. I've also been to numerous petting zoos before so I know what to expect out of a good petting zoo.
