Most importantly. Food was good. Got into a small argument because I was forced to buy a large meal because they were out of the other sizes. But they didn't mess with my food. Although service was lacking
Been going to this AW for 60 years. In those days, it was 3 mustard dogs and a root beer float. Scoop style. Now days I love the shrimp combo and lightly blended root beer float. Some things (thankfully) never change, but some things do.. for the better. I won't live another 60 years but I suspect (if there is a world) that this AW will be there and somehow be even better. PS.. find some (actual) old pictures of the place!

Very run down it looks like it's closed down. The staff sound like they hate the job the girl who handed me my order made me feel like I was a burden to serve. Not 1 smile and the guy taking my order talked so fast like they were busy and there were only 2 cars in the parking lot. Almost sure the 2 cars were employees so not busy and almost rude wish I could give 0 stars I won't go back.
Friendly staff, good food. Bathroom was out of soap but the staff did get on it.

Root beer floats - yum Cheese curds, hot dogs with chilli and cheese. Polor swirls. Shrimp baskets, hamburgers. Clean, good service. Beautiful restrooms. The mural on the wall is cool. Luana Fritz owner has always treated us well Continue to enjoy meals with my family here. Love the food and friendliness. Very clean. The chicken tenders are hand breaded in store.
