This was a pretty good course. Just don't hit it in the brush. Plays a lot like a desert version of a links course. The putting was nice on these greens. Some holes offer a gulley/ravine at the end of a long drive. So be careful not to hit it too far off the tee. Nice facilities though.
We played Boulder Creek a few years ago. It is a good track layout wise. The conditioning is the issue. Play longer than you normally would. The fairways and rough areas, while still mostly covered in grass, are very hard. The ball rolls FOREVER. The range balls have pretty much had the dimples beaten off them. There are three nines, with Desert Hawk and Coyote Run being the best. Eldorado is good, just not as interesting. There is a lot of washes, desert scrub brush and bunkers to grab your ball. Hitting controlled balls will help here more than many places. The course conditioning is generally good and the holes are fun.
