Need a go to Chinese restaurant that is close by with good food at reasonable prices and great service? This is it! My husband and I have dined in and opted for take out several times. The taste and service is consistent in that the food is always fresh and tasty and the service is always awesome. The only thing is that sometimes the portions vary...some days you'll get more in the dishes you order than others. We eat family style so that everyone has a little bit of everything ordered and that calls for three or more dishes instead of one dish for each person. Inconsistency in portion sizes makes it hard to have a decent family style meal in the traditional sense. Overall, China Bistro is a great place to eat.

My wife and I moved here, to Henderson, from New Jersey about a year ago. We tried several different Chinese restaurants after we moved here. They were all awful. Even the restaurants that had NY in the names if their restaurants.
I saw a foodie review about this restaurant on, of all places, tiktoc. I am glad I did. It was so worth the 30 minute ride to Boulder City.
We were greeted promptly and our server was very friendly and attentive.
My wife ordered the wanton soup. I had the egg drop soup. Both the best we've had since leaving NJ.
My wife had crab rangoon, I had the shrimp tempura. Both, again, excellent.
We ordered two meals, to share. I had the General Taos Chicken. She ordered the beef and broccoli.
The General Taos was excellent. The chicken was tender and the sauce was so favorable.
The beef and broccoli was different than from back east, but was very good. I just wish there was more beef.
We both ordered the fried rice with the meals. We also shared a pot of brewed tea.
We felt the prices were reasonable for the size of the portions as well as the quality of the food.
Over all we were very, very happy with this restaurant. We will definitely be taking that 30 minute ride a few times a month.
Also the dinner portions are bigger than shown. We started eating before I thought to grab pictures of the meals.

We are a family of vegetarians and this restaurant catered to our needs. Penny was such a friendly staff and such a super active person and she helped me with a generous amount of chilly oil as it was too good. The kung pao tofu was delicious and it was made vegan for us. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Have eaten here twice now whilst on our 3 day visit to Boulder City. Both times excellent. Staff attentive and friendly. Food very tasty and decent size portions for us. Probably the best value meal we have had in our 5 week road trip in the USA. Both had the combo meal.
