Mariscos El Soto Loco

This is my second time visiting this restaurant, and was very impressed by the food the first time.... However, this second time around I was very disappointed in the food. The meat was old and burned/dried up, and very salty. I didn't mind the high price the first time because we really enjoyed the fresh food, but definitely a waist of time and money 3 months later and a new location.

Good food & great prices.

To be fair we love this place when it was located at 2 wheels. We probably ate there a few times a month. However since they moved the food quality has just gone down hill. Our server was wonderful but we could hear the kitchen staff yelling at her while we waited for our food. The shrimp was not cleaned and the Carne asada was over cooked and very chewy to the point it was inedible. They use the have the best micheladas but now they just taste like watered down beer. We are really heart broken over this and wish they would just go back to the way it use to be.

The food was great, and the service is friendly and fast! So nice to have a restaurant that serves such great seafood! Love the menu! I'm going back for a crab boil next!

This was our first experience at this establishment. My order came out incorrect, the shrimp were so overdone the shells wouldn't come off and when reported to one of the waitresses her reply was "That's seafood." I had ordered it peeled and should not be expected to peel full body shrimp with hands. Our waitress did take it off the bill and the margaritas were good. But I don't go to a restaurant to hear the chef say there's nothing wrong with it, that they said it tastes better with the shells on- which translates to the chef didn't want to do it. There are a lot of more restaurants which serve great food in our town.

Not impressed ! Had a better location at the gas station with food truck & outdoors. Probably even cheaper rent ! Plus you need to properly train your FOH staff . When a to go customer asks you to make a margarita to go....that YOU CAN'T BECAUSE IT IS A TO GO order....not dine in. Burritos don't even come with rice or beans ! And too pricey ! Will lose it's fan base soon, just like Fox's !

The shrimp tacos were excellent. The shrimp were very fresh and sweet, deep fried in a handmade batter that was oh so light and crisp. The restaurant was very clean and inviting with friendly and courteous service. We will be returning in the near future!

Everything we have tried is good! Best fish tacos, anywhere! Great using and atmosphere last spring with music and dogs on the patio. Can't wait until the open their new place.

Great service. Great deals. A lot of food for the money. Get the shrimp tacos.

Best seafood I've had since California!

The service was good, our waitress was very nice and made sure we were satisfied and having our needs met. which was awesome. I will say, i was disappointed in the food itself. my hard tacos were not good, very undercooked, i got sick right after. Not only me, but so did my partner, who had ordered some fish dish or shrimp maybe, he said it tasted bad but ate it anyway. And as i read the reviews, i am very very disappointed in seeing how the owner responds to poor reviews, there is no need to attack the customer on things we cannot control, please look after your employees and think before you write to us. Will 10/10 not be coming back.

Amazing Mexican Food. Absolutely some of the best I've ever had. Friendly Staff and very fair prices.

Loved it! Had the shrimp ceviche and it's one of the best I've ever had! Check it out!
