I used to love everything about this diner. It had great food, great service. Then they expanded a little and lost the hometown feeling. Food now only okay. Live band was way too loud, we couldn't hear our own conversation. Blinds couldn't keep the sun out of our eyes which made for more discomfort. I wish I could give it 5 stars like in the past. I will not be returning.

I've been going here once or twice per year for years now. Always enjoyed it. First time going since the remodel today and was disappointed that my favorite Southwest potato pancakes were taken off the menu. We were also a large group, and they did not disclose the automatic 18% gratuity, so some of us ended up double tipping. We were able to get our extra tip back, so that's good at least, but not being upfront was poor taste. Maybe there was a sign, but it wasn't noticeable. I was disappointed with the experience. The food was alright, average, but based on the fact of their menu change and the issue we had with the bill, I probably won't return. Mostly because my southwest potato pancakes are gone. It's a bummer.

Nice breakfast with eggs, bacon and french toast BUT the syrup was as bad as it could be, seemed like nothing more than corn syrup with light coloring. It absolutely had no flavor. Even cheap grocery store flavored maple syrup was better than this.

Southwest Diner is an absolute gem! Their egg dishes are always cooked perfectly—fresh, flavorful, and full of Southwestern flair. The avocado toast is amazing too, super fresh with great toppings. I also love that they have huge options on the menu, so there’s always something new to try. And the beer selection? Surprisingly great! Awesome spot for breakfast, brunch, or just hanging out. Highly recommend!
