Haven’t been to J and J’s in several years but the service has definitely gone downhill. There were two young men working the counter and one was very pleasant however the other was incredibly rude and was arguing with customers. While waiting almost 20 minutes for ice cream two young kids who weren’t on shift came in through the back and made themselves milkshakes- the young man who was actually trying to take accountability for actions of others definitely needs a pay...
Burger was old school grease bomb. Got the order wrong. I didn't say anything as the cook was already grumbling and using profanity. Felt bad for being in there. Shake was fantastic. I wouldn't go here again.
We camp outside Pioche 3-4 times per year, and always eat at J&J's on our way. We recently learned the owner passed and left the business to his granddaughter - and yes the food still slaps. We will continue to visit as long as J&J's still operates.
