I looked up prices for the 5 entrees before ordering. $53.00. I picked up the food and was charged $84.00. We received no rice or appetizers with any item. What the heck. Reviews said pricing was fair and not the case. Called them to discuss this no answer 3 times.

Been here again couple of times. It's always been a great experience. The won ton soup and the orange chicken is the best in town. All together between a family of 4 we had the egg rolls sezchuan beef, Mongolian beef, orange chicken, beef and broccoli, veggie chow mien and walnut shrimp. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We left with our bellies all the way filled up and some to go for a midnight snack. The bamboo garden is our number one choice for chinese food in carson city.

While visiting Carson City, NV, we wanted Chinese food! We chose the Bamboo Garden.
Absolutely exceptional! (And we are super picky!)
The serving staff was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive.
We shared the chicken chow mein, which was fresh, loads with chicken and amazing sauce, soft noodles (not hard!) and sautéed onions, garlic and veggies.
We also had chicken friend rice which was amazing, fresh, buttery and bursting with flavor.
The 3rd thing g we shared was the ginger beef. Again—amazing.
Wish we would have taken pictures, but we started eating quickly!

Great food and great service, very affordable as well. My wife and I both got lunch here, each got a water with lemon and after leaving a 18.5 percent tip our bill was only $30 which is pretty unheard of nowadays especially for a sit down restaurant with quality food and service. Definitely our favorite Chinese restaurant in Northern Nevada.

we ordered our food, received it and it tasted like the chicken was old and it was cold, i don't normally say anything but it was stringy and old tasting. I told the waitress, and she took it back, and brought us another plate. I swear it was the same dish I sent back, and it was still cold. both of our meals were cold. after they brought us the second plate, they ignored us until they want me to pay for it. I have been to this restaurant many times and I drove past 3 other Chinese food restaurants to go there. this won't be on my list of Chinese restaurants. the only reason I gave it 1 star was it made me

I’ll start off by saying the food is pretty good. However, the prices have gone up quite a bit. I paid $22 for 1 general chicken dinner. I was quite surprised at the price of 1 dinner. I was thinking to myself after I left the restaurant how it would have been better to eat at a different restaurant for what I paid for Chinese food. Unfortunately I won’t be returning due to the high prices.
