“The Fox Restaurant & Brewery is a fantastic pub in the heart of Carson City! The traditional pub atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and full of character—perfect for a relaxing meal or casual night out. The service was excellent from start to finish—friendly, efficient, and impressively quick without ever feeling rushed. I ordered the Cottage Pie, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, hearty, and full of comforting flavor, with tender meat and creamy mashed potatoes baked to perfection. You can tell the kitchen puts care into every dish. If you’re in Carson City and looking for a great meal in a warm and inviting setting, The Fox is a must-visit pub. Highly recommend!”

“It was our first time at Ti Amo. We were two. We were a bit early and they took us in even with reservations. The greeter and person who seated us was very nice. We were taken to a spacious, comfortable booth. The ambiance of the restaurant wasn't something you would expect just off of the casino. It wasn't noisy, low lighting and great music not too loud and nicely decotated. The delicious and generous crusty slices of warm bread, whipped butter and roasted garlic was so yummy. Our waiter was was on top of it. He new the exact timing and when to bring the next dish. Even with customers coming in and being seated, he was attentive to us and taking time to answer our questions. Great job, Mason. We opted for fried calamari and sliced pepperoncini that came with red sauce and alioli, and antipasto with sliced italian meats, cheeses, marinated peppers and artichoke pieces and stuffed olives as appetizers, and we had minestrone soup as well. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs and grilled salmon that was perfectly cooked with a side of polenta and capers. Every bite of food served was very delicious and more than enough. We will go back.”

“This is probably one of the most up scale coffee/wine lounges in the Carson area and I was approached and invited to come join in the festivities for St. Patrick's day by the very sweet beautiful and professional Krista (employee) Thank you again for the great night in such a beautiful atmosphere! I Will be back to show everyone I know! I think it's also super fun they are now having a dj on Fridays. It's also great that it is a non smoking facility. “My wife and I have loved the Basil for years, for it’s delicious food, great service, and relaxing ambiance. I personally love the Basil because the food is always fresh, nutritious and great tasting. Recently we chose them to provide catering for a 35-person birthday celebration at our home. We were extremely impressed by the time and attention that Chai gave to the planning of our event. The result was a beautiful set-up of amazing food and appetizers. Our guests totally loved it! Whether it’s for a simple lunch, a romantic or family dinner, or all-out catering, we can’t recommend The Basil enough!”

“On our way back from Yosemite we stopped for dinner at 7pm. My wife had the Cajun Chicken Pasta with blackened chicken and a dinner salad. She Sid her Mel was excellent. The chicken was so tender it could be cut with a fork. She said she would have liked the Cajun seasoning on the pasta too. I had the 12oz Prime Rib with baked potato and house salad. East Coast Prime Rib is very tender and extremely fatty. The Prime Rib I ordered he very little fat and was very firm tasting. It came with two types of butter, sour cream, cream horseradish and au jus. My meal was very filling and excellent. Our waitress Shanna was very good.”

“We were introduced to this restaurant last year by our dear friend and neighbor. We were living in TX at the time. FF to now. We moved to Carson March 1st. This has been our go to Mexican Restaurant for over 7 months now. We have tried several, but still come back here. The food is outstanding. The owner is really sweet. Best waiter around is Bobby. Request him any day but Wednesday!! He will take care of you. All the waitstaff have been amazing. Food is always hot fresh and made to order. Actually going there today for lunch as it's been a few since our last visit. Will post pics on my next review!! The #27 is our go to. 4 enchiladas. We will get 2 with the ground sirloin and 2 with cheese with rice, refried beans and albondigas soup. We share for lunch and have enough to eat for dinner. 5 stars across the board”

“My wife & I love this restaurant. Their location at Longley & McCarran is ideal for all of South Reno, and a nice, really short drive for the residents of Hidden Valley and Donner Springs. The staff is super friendly, and the wait for your meal is truly minimal. Best thing is the food quality and generous pours. 2nd best thing is their “no rush” philosophy, so you don’t feel rushed to eat at all. Plus they have ample space for larger groups. This is a great restaurant, and everyone should take advantage of the location and experience.”

“When I think of a diner, this is what I want to experience.

The food is down to earth but delicious. I had the daily special of Eggs Benedict. The portion was good for the price point. The sauce was a little broken but tasted delicious. The hash browns had the perfect crisp to them.

The wait staff are all personable and you can tell they know their regular guests.

Coming here on a Tuesday morning had a low key atmosphere. Rock and roll music plays in the background and you feel like you’re in an old school diner.

I ordered a burger that came without mayo or mustard and when I asked for mustard it was an additional .50 my husband asked for blue cheese instead of ranch it was also an additional .50 we ordered a child sized apple juice which was over $5 but the worst part was the service. Our waitress was the worst. She never asked if we needed anything so many things. I took one bite of my burger and it was so nasty. The other guests were nicer than she was. At $175 for our meal our service should have been better. We will certainly pick another restaurant for our next visit to Carson City.”

“I just ate there and I gotta say I’m leaving full and happy. This was good food simple and short. Every other Mexican place I’ve been at here in Carson city has honestly been really bad. I’ve been very disappointed with the Mexican cuisine here, but this place put a smile on my face, and a full belly. I will probably come back and try something else out for sure. First Mexican place that I can say, “ I would eat here again”, oh and cook seems like a happy guy, he was whistling to the music so that’s a good sign, and the lady who I’m guessing owns the place was very kind, and attentive.”

We had a very rude waitress and the food was a very poor quality and not as it was ordered. Carson is really growing, but you need to keep your quality up or you will not get return customers. It will be a long time, if ever, that we visit again.”

“I buy certain items at the Carson City Costco all the time. What annoys me to no end is that in Carson City, where there are 2 stores, they have stopped carrying their signature brand Simply Purrfect kitty litter. I have 6 cats and have used this for "years". People from Mammoth, Coleville, Bridgeport, Yerington stock up on this Signature Brand "Simply Purrfect". I'm Now I have to drive 80 miles one way to get it?!!!! This is ridiculous and this is like being out of Costco toilet paper to me. Please if anyone agrees with me, please respond on Costco Facebook and call the corporate offices and complain too. I've tried other litters. There is no comparison. It climps hard, tracks very little, doesn't stick to the bottom of the litter box. It is Ridiculous to have a signature brand that now is discontinued at the Carson City Stores. Please restock the Carson City Stores with this litter. at least the one on Clear Creek Drive. It is closer yo all who live South of Carson who shop there.”

“Does KFC butcher chickens with a hatchet? I've been to this location numerous times. Service is good, flavor is standard for KFC. I got a family meal last week with original chicken and it honestly looked like someone just threw a whole chicken into a food processor to see how it shook out. The pieces had shatter bones, bones that don't belong on those pieces etc. I know KFC does not butcher its own meat, but seems like these things should be caught in store for quality control.”

“We went to the Topsy location Round Table yesterday 6/19/26, with our family. There were 8 of us. We trickled in as 3 separate groups( so Annoying) . RJ is the manager. He was very busy in the back, you could see he was handling pizza baking, delivery and cash register. I did finally see one other person. However RJ was extremely efficient, very kind and personable. Even with him being so busy he made us all feel welcome and attended to. We were never made to feel we were taking up his time as can happen at some restaurants on occasion. We did not realize he was the manager, and we wanted to give him a tip, but he explained he had just taken over the store and of course, since he’s a manager that would not be appropriate. So, we want to leave this review. We found RJ to be a very a professional, hard-working and personable Employee. I will say right now that can be a rarity. People are overworked and taken for granted. It trickles down to customers and the corporate bottom line. I hope Round Table understands what a gem they have here and take care of RJ. He is a definite asset and any company would be Lucky to have him. Thank you so much RJ For making our visit so nice! We were all happy to meet you!”

“This was my first time ever going to Applebee’s! I honestly had never really considered trying it before, but it was close to where we were staying in Carson City, so my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try.

The food was really good! I got a burger with fries, pretty much what you’d expect, but both were delicious. The drink I ordered was also really good.

The atmosphere was nice overall, although something I found a little weird was that one side of the restaurant had music playing and the side where we were sitting didn’t. It made our area feel a little too quiet, especially for a Saturday night. I was expecting it to feel a bit more lively.

The service was excellent though! Everyone was very friendly and attentive, and we were treated really well. Overall, it was a really good experience for my first time at Applebee’s, and I’d definitely go back:)!”
