My husband had the Bison and I had the filet mignon and king crab, everything was cooked at absolute perfection. I would recommend this place a million times over to everyone I know.”

First of all, the owner/operator, Dolly, is truly amazing. She might be the most hospitable and humble person I have met in a long time. You can tell she truly cares about the food, her employees, and most of all the customer’s satisfaction. The space is very clean with plenty of open light. It would be a good spot for an intimate date, or to host a larger party. Also, we must give it up for the chef! I am amazed with how many distinct dishes came out of the kitchen in such little time. “This is a must visit for anyone who enjoys imbibing in old historic saloons! Originally established in 1875, it is the oldest operating bar in Carson City and it is filled to the brim with old western charm. All the walls are covered with old photos, news clipping and there's even an old news paper featuring the very first ad they took out back in 1881. That said, what really makes this such a great place to quench your thirst is that it's located in the heart of the old downtown so it's a perfect place to start a fun evening before talking a nice walk to one of the many restaurants nearby. Also, while you'd think it'd have more of a touristy feel, the vibe inside is super friendly and has a very welcoming 'locals' feel to it. Best of all, the pours here are generous, reasonably priced and I would highly recommend you stop in if you're passing through town or become a regular if you live in town.”

“Well, I stumbled upon this place because of Google maps, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I liked that I could have all you can eat sushi, and my mom, who doesn't like sushi, could have Chinese food. I, of course, started off with 5 mussles followed by some nigiri; 6 upside down shrimp, 2 octopus, 2 white tail, 2 salmon, 2 crab, 28 seared eel, and a 1 hand roll followed by a specialty spicy roll made by the chef. It was all very, very good. My mom had fried rice, chicken chow mien, and orange chicken. It all looked so tasty, and she said it was very delicious. All in all, it was a great experience.”

So if you are looking for a venue keep them in mind.The Prime Rib was outstanding. Indeed, it was the best Prime Rib I have had in a very long time. Our waiter and the Maitre de were outstanding. However, keep in mind that tablecloths come with a cost of their own. They need to be laundered and then some need to be replaced. So there would be an added cost.So the question is would you prefer a little more ambiance or a cheaper price for an excellent meal?However, if you are looking for excellent service with delicious food at a reasonable price then this is the place for you.Not to mention, that the drive to Carson is beautiful. Plus there are plenty of things to do in Carson to enjoy. Perhaps it is time to beckon back to a slower pace of life. Take a nostalgic trip to Carson to see the Capitol all decorated for Christmas. “I am visiting Carson City on business and was craving some Italian food. Decided to come in to Garibaldi's. Traveling solo I decided to sit at the bar for dinner had some wine, a house salad with some really good ranch dressing and the capellini siciliana. Everything was delicious. The owner and his daughter made me feel welcome and the owner sat down ti chat for awhile. I normally am not a fan of small talk, but it didn't feel like small talk and felt like a genuine conversation. Saw some reviews about service being rude, not sure why they felt that way because my interaction with them and observing them with all patrons felt warm, welcomed and genuine. I will definitely come back here every time I come back here for work. Thanks for the great food and conversation!”

“This is my families favorite ice cream place in Carson. The ice cream is handmade & beyond tasty! The tostiesquites is really good also. I almost always get the strawberries & cream; it's delish! The owner is so nice & extemely helpful. Unfortunately a couple of the younger men that work there while the owner is gone, aren't as friendly. So we try to avoid going when the owner is gone. Because of this, I am giving 4 stars instead of 5.”

The food is amazing. They are on point and they are there to make sure everything is successful. Its not just about sending the food and bailing. I truly love when I get to see their name on the vendor list cause eating is the best part of being a wedding photographer!!!”

I forgot our servers name a Fantastic gentleman and Amazing server. I think his first initial start with a B. I lost my receipt where I had his name, but honestly we have always had good service there. The food was perfect! Absolutely delicious everything we have ever ordered there has been delectable! We have been going to The Fox for years and we truly appreciate every visit. This visit was very memorable because of the outstanding service. The restaurant was busy but they still made sure that we were taken care of especially with the order of wings we had. lot's of napkins lol! Our server was on top of everything. “This particular store today was Awesome and very professional, but other stores should follow suit.

Unfortunately, Starbucks has gotten so big. It's hit and miss, depending on what store you go to. Starbucks has gotten to the point where they just want you to conform to what the day brings. Whether they're posted or not, especially when it comes to hours when open. Some stores open a 1/2 hour later, but they don't post it on the internet. It says one thing, and when you get there It says something else and then the people just look at you like you're crazy, they turned her back to you and don't let you know that it's going be at least a 1/2 hour before they open other than what the posted time says.
Bad on you Starbucks for your abuse of power. This post is for the Abundance of stores that switched their hours and really do have bad service, not for the one that I gave the five stars on.They were awesome.”

“I come in frequently and everytime I order oysters they are tiny , they used to be good size or large ,not even an extra to make up for the loss or a discount for something not worth paying for. The seafood soup is good but the fake crab is horrible better to remove it or change type of crab for a better one .I'll give it a try soon to see if anything changes and hopefully the micheladas are better too ,just beer and clamato won't do in my opinion”

“We are from San Jose CA and we visit this place for the first time in 2018 while in vacation, it's a small place so we didn't think it will be so delicious. First time we tried the pupusas only, good size and very tasty for the price. Good service and I liked they have a bar for salsas and toppings available. Second time was this year, we had to stop on our way to Nevada city and this time we had pupusas, menudo and the fried yuca with pork that was so good?. We were so hungry that we didn't even think of taking pictures but I really recommend this small place, it is clean, good service good prices but the food it's amazing and tasty?. Can't wait to go again soon!”

“We were introduced to this restaurant last year by our dear friend and neighbor. We were living in TX at the time. FF to now. We moved to Carson March 1st. This has been our go to Mexican Restaurant for over 7 months now. We have tried several, but still come back here. The food is outstanding. The owner is really sweet. Best waiter around is Bobby. Request him any day but Wednesday!! He will take care of you. All the waitstaff have been amazing. Food is always hot fresh and made to order. Actually going there today for lunch as it's been a few since our last visit. Will post pics on my next review!! The #27 is our go to. 4 enchiladas. We will get 2 with the ground sirloin and 2 with cheese with rice, refried beans and albondigas soup. We share for lunch and have enough to eat for dinner. 5 stars across the board”

“This place has a very efficient assembly line system during peak hours. I must have been there for only a few minutes, and they completed about 6 orders within that time span. You had one person cutting up the meat, another person handling the bread and toppings, and finally, someone handling the shakers and chash register. Like everyone knew their role and grinded through a bunch of orders. I know this review may seem silly, but in this day and age where customer service has taken a toll, I'm actually really impressed, and they deserve a 5-star review.”

“Timber’s is a fantastic little local pub on a quiet street in Carson City. This is strictly a locals place which. during the day has generally an older clientele. The service is really 1st class and the beer is ice cold! There is no food, but there is fresh popcorn for free. We had a very rude waitress and the food was a very poor quality and not as it was ordered. Carson is really growing, but you need to keep your quality up or you will not get return customers. “China Jade Horse has been here for 20 YEARS! I came here maybe 15 years ago and didn't go back, cause I found other fave places in Carson. But now I decided to go back after seeing on the menu some dishes no one else offers in Carson. If you stay in business 20 years, you gotta be doing something right!

The Szechuan spicy Eggplant with minced pork served in a sizzling claypot was insanely off the charts good. It's $17.98 but worth it. This is one of the super authentic Chinese dishes they have. Prices are sort of expensive compared to some Chinese joints in town, but the food is above the rest here. Also had the Shrimp with scrambled eggs, not you usual American Chinese dish, but wow, was this good, I never had eggs taste so good before!

Service is polite and no communication probs at all.”

“The manager is absolutely wonderful. We ordered delivery and only ended up receiving half of our food, we drove up there, and the manager not only remade the entire order, but also was working to refund the delivery charge. He went completely above and beyond for us and I've never had such an amazing experience with having an issue anywhere else.

The food is always delicious and now I also know for a fact that if anything is wrong, they'll go the extra mile to fix it.”

Food: I don’t know if I got lucky, but the food was amazing! I had orange chicken and sesame chicken and both paired with each other very well! Furthermore the food was caramelized very nicely! Also getting a Coke set everything up nicely.

Service: The workers were polite and worked very hard. We came near closing, but they still made fresh food. The worst thing to hear is “sorry we are out of _____ and there is nothing to be done.” These workers went above and beyond!

Atmosphere: Plenty of seating, clean and smelled neutral. The only issue is that it was a little cold.”
