Best salsas in town, best carnitas in town. And a little tip: you can ask for your tacos to be made with handmade tortillas and they are MASSIVE. Will always consider this a family favorite!“

“We were introduced to this restaurant last year by our dear friend and neighbor. We were living in TX at the time. FF to now. We moved to Carson March 1st. This has been our go to Mexican Restaurant for over 7 months now. We have tried several, but still come back here. The food is outstanding. The owner is really sweet. Best waiter around is Bobby. Request him any day but Wednesday!! He will take care of you. All the waitstaff have been amazing. Food is always hot fresh and made to order. Actually going there today for lunch as it's been a few since our last visit. Will post pics on my next review!! The #27 is our go to. 4 enchiladas. We will get 2 with the ground sirloin and 2 with cheese with rice, refried beans and albondigas soup. We share for lunch and have enough to eat for dinner. 5 stars across the board“

“My wife & I love this restaurant. Their location at Longley & McCarran is ideal for all of South Reno, and a nice, really short drive for the residents of Hidden Valley and Donner Springs. The staff is super friendly, and the wait for your meal is truly minimal. Best thing is the food quality and generous pours. 2nd best thing is their “no rush” philosophy, so you don’t feel rushed to eat at all. Plus they have ample space for larger groups. This is a great restaurant, and everyone should take advantage of the location and experience.“

El molcajete Tres carnes (3 meats molcajete) es espectacular , incluso llevé parte de este ya que es una porción grande y al día siguiente lo degusté en mi almuerzo. Las fajitas y la sopa de tortilla que degustamos fueron tan buenas que hoy me encuentro haciendo este review sentado nuevamente en una mesa del Restaurante Águila Real ordenando nuevamente la Sopa de tortilla y probando otro nuevo platillo el cual estoy seguro estará delicioso. Este restaurante atendido por una madre y sus tres hijos y con precios razonables está altamente recomendado en mi opinión“

“I just ate there and I gotta say I’m leaving full and happy. This was good food simple and short. Every other Mexican place I’ve been at here in Carson city has honestly been really bad. I’ve been very disappointed with the Mexican cuisine here, but this place put a smile on my face, and a full belly. I will probably come back and try something else out for sure. First Mexican place that I can say, “ I would eat here again”, oh and cook seems like a happy guy, he was whistling to the music so that’s a good sign, and the lady who I’m guessing owns the place was very kind, and attentive.“

“Had the carne asada. It came with sides and tortillas. Chips and salsa are complementary. Had the horchata but it overly sweet and grainy but still refreshing. Everything else was good but not stand out or exceptional. Expect to spend around 15 per person. Overall quality is great for the price.“

When we asked them after seeing everyone that was in line behind us get their food they made an excuse about having issues with their propane. They then said we would have to wait another 30 mins for our food. We asked for a refund instead of waiting.HORRIBLE customer service.“

I heard about this place so I had to drive from Southlake Tahoe to come check it out definitely worth it. I had the fish tacos. Also ask for their hot sauce which is really amazing. It has a perfect hint of heat and sweet.“
