30 Best Mexican Restaurants in Sparks

“We stopped by here after the hot air balloon races. The parking lot is small but we were able to get a spot. This is classic diner style, with seats along the counter. Talk about vintage vibes! Because of this, it might be difficult for large groups to be accommodated all at once, or sit together. But for groups of 1-3, maybe even 4, it shouldn’t be a problem. We noticed that groups of 4 took the corners, probably to make socializing easier. We were only 2 that day, so finding a spot wasn’t too difficult.

The good here is great. The chorizo is not great at all. Add avocado to everything - they give you a substantial portion! Fresh corn or flour tortillas. Attentive and kind wait staff.

“Their little cafeteria has the best Mexican food in town. Other restaurants might have atmosphere, but they don’t have great food! As far as the grocery store, they have salsa that you won’t find anywhere else. The meat market is fantastic and the bakery is top notch. It’s really that good“

“This is my favorite store I’ve ever came across. My son and I were walking g around the neighborhood and we decided to go in and we spent 45 minutes going up and down every isle. It’s not a small store but they have way more packed into the place than you would believe. Such a huge veriety I’m still caught off guard every time I go into the place. Great prices I never have to worry about spending a convenients fee just because I don’t want to go all the way to winco and deal with that god awful place the rainbow market if they had what I need it’d be $12 for a $5 item but it may be $6 here but it could also be $4 believe it or not.. I’m rambling but just know it’s only because I love this place. There’s 1 man and 1 woman that don’t always seem thrilled to be there but everyone else that I’ve encountered working there are super cool and friendly, I haven’t tried the food truck, I didn’t realize they were combined but after reading the reviews I’ll definitely be trying it this weekend!“

“Very disappointed to get our bill at Happy Hour!! regular pitcher price is 15.00..we ordered 2 Skinny Margarita pitchers..the bill was 56.00!!!! and not included on Happy Hour pricing. We would have adjusted our order had we been told, hey it isn't a happy hour drink. Spoke to the mgr. and it was due to squeezing fresh limes. We did not have top shelf stuff at All. nice dinner, just ruined our time with the price of our drinks, which we made sure was ordered before happy hour ended..needless to say, won't return. Our friends who brought us there go weekly.“

“The menudo here is bomb! I never thought I was going to get handmade tortillas but boy I got a surprise. This places is definitely a jewel in town if your looking for a good menudo, this place is definitely a must go, they are also way different than others this place will ask you if you’ll like pata or not. Not like in other places they just won’t even ask you nor add it. Definitely recommend them definitely will be coming to try other foods from their menu.

This is one of the best taquerias in the area, everyone that works there is amazing and I am treated like family each time I go. I highly reccomend the tacos, burritos, nachos and Quesadillas.

They do get pretty packed around 12pm lunch time so try to get there a bit earlier or after if you can.“

“Don't let the line going out the door scare you off. After you get through the line it was like 5 minutes later my food was ready. Why is the line so long? Because the food portions are ridiculous. I ordered the super burrito and it weighs 2 pounds. Its like combining 4 TacoBells burrito supremes into one huge burrito for 12 bucks. Dont believe me,I took a picture after I ate half of it and look at it compared to my big hand. Its like 3 full meals. Wife ordered the Nachos and its her meal for the next two days.

“This is by far the best taco truck I have been to in many years I got the carne Asada burrito which came with rice beans, Carne, Asada, onions and avocado sauce and the best spicy red sauce. I’ve tasted in a long while the Horchata was terrific $20 worth every penny the guys were friendly and the food tasted authentic. it is authentic as for a truck driver always been on the road. It’s good to have some good home. Cook meal. There’s plenty of truck parking all around.“
