I was starving and was literally about to go to the gym when I stopped by to get a slider, some chicken tenders and fries. the cashier notice I was short in change so, him and his manager assisted me with my order, thus exceeding my day with gratitude and appreciation I had to compliment them in person and with this feedback. I didn't expect them to go out there way to make sure I was satisfied and taken care of. Some kind of room divider-maybe a temporary removable one- would help a lot for those events and cut down the restaurant noise.”

“It was Saturday evening. A cozy restaurant with courteous and friendly staff; delicious and large portions of food. I had spicy bulgogi with steamed rice, hot tea and a generous container of warm sake, and my wife had seafood ramen together with assorted kimchi.”

“I’ve been to the other Flowing Tide location in Sparks, which felt a bit more spacious in the main dining area. This location definitely had a different atmosphere. The main bar area felt very crowded and energetic, while the overflow section was much quieter and empty in comparison, making the layout feel a little disjointed during peak hours.

That said, Cherri absolutely made the experience enjoyable. Despite nearly every table being filled, she provided fast, friendly, and attentive service the entire time. She consistently checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed, which is impressive considering how busy it was. She also let us know about the late-night happy hour specials, which had great prices — unfortunately we had already eaten, otherwise we definitely would’ve taken advantage of them.

If you’re planning to visit, I’d personally recommend going a little earlier in the evening before the late-night rush or even after midnight since they’re open 24 hours. We happened to arrive during what felt like peak late-night hours, but the staff would probably know the best times to avoid the crowd.

“Stopped in here twice on a recent trip to Reno. Had the Blackened Salmon for dinner then had the Salmon Benedict the next morning and the chef prepared food was excellent. Very cozy atmosphere where the staff is more than happy to socialize with you. This is a very nicely maintained property and I had the pleasure of touring the entire business. A lovely lady guided me around and showed me the special event rooms and a spacious courtyard with a pool in the back. There is a huge lounge/party room that is in a secure area that can only be accessed through the bar area by the staff. Special thanks to Alora and especially Roxy for keeping me company and giving me the guided tour around...”

“We had Linda as our waitress. She did an excellent job, was attentive and recommended the fish and chips I asked about. It was tasty. I forgot to take a picture of it. The cup of clam chowder was warm, so I asked to have it reheated so I could enjoy it. Linda took care of it for me.
Mt wife enjoyed her meal, but we thought her cup of corn chowder was much better than the clam chowder I had, even though mine was better hot than warm.
Dessert was the apple stroodle dish, Linda served it with a generous portion of vanilla ice cream. Yum!”

“I have been recommending C’s Mad Batter Cakery to my clients for YEARS! The owners are the sweetest and all of their treats and delicious and beautiful. Today one of my clients showed up and stressed with the chaos that is life, she completely forgot to pick up a cake for her cake smash session. Ensue momentary panic— until she called C’s, explained the situation, and they happily let her know what flavors and colors they had available. Order placed— we snapped our portrait shots first— and about 25 minutes later the cake arrived and we had plenty of time behavior our cake smash portion of the session even began! The cake was beautiful, baby chowed down on it, pictures came out great, and the day was saved with almost no stress at all. It’s the care put into every interaction and every cake that keeps me recommending this amazing small business time and time again. Today I ordered online and when I went to pick up they stated they didn't have my order. I showed them my receipt on my phone and they got their manager. She came out and apologized for the mistake and made my order herself. She also upgraded one of my drinks to the large size for the mistake/wait. Excellent customer service!”

I could see that it is a well loved restaurant - calm atmosphere, families and individuals were seated at booths and tables, and there were even a few chairs for those they may have had to wait for their take-out order. Steady business on a Saturday mid-morning. The tucked away location made this hidden gem even more enticing.

Loved the flavors. Homemade corn tortillas... yes, please! I ordered the huevos con chorizo, rice, beans, and a side of DELICIOUS salsa. 😋

I was warmly welcomed by the staff right away. You can either choose from ready-made pizzas or create your own, which is a great option. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole process.

The pizza was prepared very quickly — it took less than 5 minutes — and the food itself was fantastic, really delicious.

The atmosphere was okay, not outstanding, but still comfortable. However, I did notice that some areas were a bit dirty, which could definitely be improved.

All in all, I would still highly recommend this place for a quick and tasty meal.”

“I live near Krispy Kreme, so I visit this location often. Just like every other place around they have a short staff and it is a lasting result of covid. So many "fast food" places around here are staffed with 2 people. These sort of companies need, i assume, 6-8 employees. Yes, KK are sometimes out of an item, and sometimes close early and opens late. But every single food place around here still has to close up early, or open late, because they dont have the staff. I have had some disappointment with a place not being opened. But when they are opened and have a limited staff they really pull together. Krispy Kreem, even being a chain, has being going through this. I do not work for Krispy Kreeme and I don't know anyone there. So this is just my experience today. I arrived at Krispy Kreme early this morning and ordered a dozen glazed, and a dozen assorted. I pulled up to the window and asked about the leprechaun donuts. I asked if they were available. With my donuts already in their boxes he changed my order for me. The manager, England, was the one at the window. I saw one other person near him, and one more in there, and ai am pretty sure that was it. My morning wasn't going the best, but he made my day and made smile. I have been there a dozen or more times. Always happy, I would leave many reviews all positive.”

“Pretty quiet when we arrived after 9pm; as we sat at bar however, they did have several tables along the side of bar and on the upper floor. Good spot for sports- 12 TVs I believe.\n\nHaven't eaten at AB since Vegas; they are open late til midnight daily.\n\nTried their margarita flight good but a tad sweet for me as I like more sour. We both tried their Cajun menu Pasta with Sausage and Shrimp plus Chicken and Shrimp with mash. Dessert good blondie just sweet.\nAll food pretty good, service by Autumn was good.\nAnytime you want a late night bite they're open til 12midnight.”
