Rosie's Café Reviews
This place is going down hill, and it breaks my heart! I have been coming for for over 20 years. Used to be the best place to go for yummy food, friendly servers and fair prices. Now, you're lucky to get half of what you ordered in a reasonable time, most the servers are rude. We had a new server this time, Cassandra from Orange County(I'm from Orange County as well)!!! She is very attentive and friendly even though they were busy she made sure we were taken care of, She's a keeper!...read full review
Very good food, but the days of getting great food bargains in casinos is apparently over.
Definitely not focused on customer service, host was flat out rude, but food is pretty good.

Rosie's Café, located inside the Nugget Casino in Sparks, Nevada, offers a comfortable dining experience with booth seating and counter seating. The menu features a variety of options, including an excellent clam chowder made from an 86-year-old recipe from Puget Sound and a highly-praised quesadilla. Customers have enjoyed the fried chicken dinner and breakfast plates, praising the generous portions and fantastic flavors. Some customers appreciated the attentive service, especially staff members who were very attentive. The café also serves late-night food, with a nice burger that is thick and juicy, and Fish and Chips served with fries, Tartar Sauce, and Cole Slaw, which many have eaten entirely. The tater tots are crispy and the fish is served as one long piece. A carved turkey club sandwich is also a popular choice, featuring an abundance of carved turkey, and customers often add avocado and onion rings for extra flavor. The decor has an early 1900 Chicago style with brick walls, coffered ceilings with crown molding, and bronze chandelier lighting, creating a pleasant atmosphere despite the casino's dated look. While the food is generally good, some minor issues like soggy tater tots and sweet biscuits have been noted. Service can be slow at times, and some customers have experienced long waits for their food. The restaurant has made updates to its Keno screens, which were previously viewed as distracting. Overall, the place is clean and well maintained, with polite staff, though improvements in host and server attitudes could enhance the experience.
