“Jack's Café Health inspection 6/6/24
2200 Victorian Ave., Sparks
Food-contact surfaces: Ice machine had a buildup of pink mildew on the deflector plate. Meat slicer that already had been cleaned still had meat and food debris on it.
Warewashing equipment: Facility has a three-compartment sink but does not have drain plugs for the compartment drains. Facility has been using wadded up plastic wrap as a drain plug.
Cooling time/temperatures: Metal pan of sausage links was covered with plastic wrap at 71° F that had been prepared 3-4 hours prior.
Corrections should be done.
Parking: Watch where you park, you can get a ticket.“
“For a small restaurant inside a store, the food here is great. We got the outdoorsman sandwich, a salad and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious, and the gelato looked so good I had to try the strawberry. Absolutely delicious, and you get a very generous amount. I will definitely come back here to get lunch or a snack next time I'm at Scheels.“

“I’ve been there twice in 24 hours. Last night dinner was soup and salad which was really good and fresh. Today’s lunch was patty melt and sweet potato fries, chicken corn soup, chicken chili soup, and Santa Fe salad. All delicious!! The sweet potato fries were crispy to the last bite. Service was great both times. Specially Christin was very nice, accommodating above and beyond what I expected. I would go there again for sure. ? ?“
