“This place is legit, second time here within three days. The Zap Wings are crazy good, and the crunchy pad Thai is really unique. The traditional pad Thai is also very good, not oily but very flavorful. And we enjoyed the papaya salad. Spice level five is no problem.Went back again for lunch and had pad kra prow with thai fried egg“
“We stopped in for lunch today, after running errands. We ordered egg rolls as an appetizer. I got the Thai red curry and hubby got the General Tso's shrimp. All of the food was delicious. And the service was excellent! We're so happy to have a great Asian restaurant in the area!“
“The search for good to great restaurants in the Reno lake Tahoe region continues!!!!!!We are constantly trying new places to review in this area. Our second Thai food restaurant in Reno to tryAsian restaurant(s) for the most part can be an expensive proposition. I understand now how much my parents spent when as a family of 5, they would indulge us at Chinese restaurant in Chinatown s.f.Even for a couple it can get pricey. We found this restaurant on mccaran Blvd in a nice shopping center. We watched as customers entered the business many coming out with takeout. We did a dine in. We ordered pineapple chicken fried rice, chicken satay, crab cheese rangoons, and tom yum seafood soup. In most Thai restaurants we have attended, the server will always ask us how hot/spicy we want the food. Usually on a scale of 1 to 10, we ask for an 8. All based on perception. Watch out for those ghost chillis. At this restaurant no one asked. I had to ask for a basket of chili peppers, ground chili, etc.The food was good . The crab cheese rangoons, pineapple chicken fried rice and chicken satay were cooked just right. Chicken was moist, rangoons cheesy, but really couldn't taste the crab. The pineapple chicken fried rice had ample pieces of chicken, pineapple and cashews .The soup was a little disappointing. One the spicynes was not there. I had to add ground chili. As for ingredients, I am used to more, shellfish still in the shell, crab legs and claws, as well as fish. This particular soup had none of that.Otherwise ok, but the price a little high for 4 dishes and 2 Thai coffees. The search in Reno continues.Parking: Several slots for parking in front of restaurant including disabled parkingWheelchair accessibility: Easy access“
“Took a 30min drive in traffic to get here. Worth it!! The food, especially the sauces, were amazing. I respect the question "level of spicy 1-5?" Hazelnut Boba helped mellow out my level 3 spicy shrimp. I give a 4 star because customer service could of been better. I left rushed ordering even though we were the only people in there. It got busy shortly after. We'll be back“
“food was all good. My fav thing is the cashew delight with chicken . this is my fav place to eat ever in reno . i love the Thai tea boba so yum . The golden rolls are so crispy and the shrimp rangoon are so creamy. The food came by quickly and the service is good and the place is so cute“
“Curry was amazing, but the rest of the food was 3-4 stars. They brought us our mango desserts and told us that one of them had a different mango. It was horrible. I’m not sure if it wasn’t ripe or what but that was weird to me. They also charged us extra when my kids order tea with no ice. I would go here again, especially for the curry, but we didn’t leave feeling like it would be a favorite.“
“The red curry w/beef, drunken noodles and mango with sweet sticky rice were all delicious. Our waiter provided excellent service, had positive energy. Only complaint is my iced tea wasn't refilled at all and sat empty for the majority of the meal. I'd definitely recommend for authentic, fresh Thai food. ?“
“I am always here for takeout but the restaurant area is fine. They have the best glass noodles and it’s my daughter’s favorite pot stickers in Reno. The service is excellent, it’s always bustling with a ton of orders and the sweetest ladies work there. Great place!!Vegetarian options: Most things are adaptable but plenty of non meat options too.“
“Long time customer. I do believe any, or most, dishes can be made vegan, just let them know. the fish sauce is replaced with a delicious mushroom sauce. they're educated on the topic, much appreciated. their golden fried tofu and companion sauce is p good. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-15“
“coffee is a 10/10. thanks to the guy who made my coffee last night he was friendly and had good customer service sadly dropped one of my coffees outside tripping on the curb lol but the one i did have was amazing and im sure the other one was tooParking: 9-10 in front of the place some on the sides and a parking lot across the street!!Wheelchair accessibility: there's one accessible spot on front of this place“
“I'll happily always give them 5 stars! They are so prompt and kind and the food is always delicious. It's lovely to dine in, but they're also great for takeout. The ambiance is great. I'm not going to lie--I take myself there sometimes as a little treat if I'm upset. They're just always so nice, I really appreciate it. Very partial to the mango curry!!! I also don't generally like Thai Tea, but I like theirs!“
“Good atmosphere for a Thai restaurant. We've ordered in several times as well. The food is very good and I've had a lot of Thai good in cities like SF, LA and NYC. You can pick your spice level. Warning- even a 2 can be hot, so err on the side of a lower spice number for your first time.“
“I had a great experience here. Recently back from Thailand in search of which local restaurant is putting out authentic Thai food.I always order the basics on my first try of a new restaurant.I have to say, A Taste of Thai did a really good job in my opinion. The in-house made rolls were fresh and perfectly cooked. The green curry with chicken was super tasty and the heat was perfect for me. I ordered the 4 of 5 for their heat scale and found that to be a really nice heat…didn’t blow out my tastebuds and allowed me to enjoy the entire meal. The service was quick enough and the server was very pleasant. The price was what you should reasonably expect considering the current economic conditions and I always enjoy a beer or two with a meal. Definitely retuning!“
“Delicious food and nice staff! We had the pad see ew, Basil fried rice and hoy jor and they were all amazing. The thai milk tea was delicious but the texture and taste of the boba wasn’t the best. I had a great lunch on a Saturday and it wasn’t packed at all.“
