“Much more authentic than chipotle. The food was good I had the enchilada, my friend had enchiladas, my other friend had the chicken enchilada, my other friend had the steak enchiladas. My other friend also happened to order an enchilada. The waiters were a little inattentive at times, but we got a lot of water refills. Overall a great experience!Vegetarian options: My vegan bro ate goodKid-friendliness: They were friendly to my young friend SamParking: You can park in Truckee high schoolDietary restrictions: My gluten free bro ate good“
“I've been here twice now after a day of skiing. The first time I thought omg this is fantastic. This second time I brought someone with me and they said it was the best rotisserie chicken they have ever had. The flavor is amazing. Juicy. Cooked to perfection. Crispy skin. I also got the tri-tip (both times) which was delicious. The spicy salsa isn't too spicy. I got the rice and beans on the side. Throwing it all into a tortilla and dipping it in the hot sauce was a 10/10 experience. Both times. The first time I took it to go and this second time I dined in. The workers are so sweet. I'll keep coming back here for my post ski meals!“
“Solid pizza joint up in Truckee. I loved going to the place in Tahoe City long ago when I would head to night skiing at now-Palisades Tahoe and head back to my friend's house with an appetite the size of the village. Now they have a spot in Truckee with slices made to order and some of the requisite games on site to play. Super cute spot, good food, even when my order has been not quite what I placed it's still good. Would love to see expanded options for alcoholic drinks like ciders instead of just beers. The non-alcoholic options are damn good, they have tons of various Mexican sodas. Service has always been great - friendly and timely. Definitely a staple spot.“
“Very great experience!!! Great prices compared to some of the other restraunts here. Ate here 3 times throughout our stay. I got the quesadillas, tortilla soup, and churros. They were all great! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting here!!!✅✅✅??“
“Delicious. Delectable. Hubby had street tacos (tongue and stomach), boys had carnitas super quesadilla, mom had chile verde burrito a la carte (I really don't need rice and beans on the side), washed down with horchata. The whole family demolished the side of chips and Pico de Gallo ($2.50 I think, but worth it). My burrito was copiously drizzled with yummy green sauce and had big chunks of pork nestled in its folds, and a chunk of lettuce, sour cream, guacamole and chopped tomatoes on the side. So good. Not overloaded with rice and beans (maybe there wasn't any... and it was tastier perhaps because they were missing!) And for only $9.99 - seriously inflation fighting and not a price tag I have seen in the Bay Area in awhile (and since prices are sticky, a price will never see again... Oh woe is me). Nice ambiance too.“
“Pretty good! Definitely a tourist spot but the Margi's are great. Locals may want to seek atmosphere elsewhere. I was there in the middle of the day on a week day, took a bus call, 5 mins and was "talked too" by the staff accusing me of harming the ambiance... So, good for decent tex mex dinner but not a great watering hole for locals...“
“The food is good tasting and healthy. As a local I eat here several times a month. The breakfast burritos are good and lamb bowl as well. Only complaint would be overpriced salads for what you get but overall good choice for a healthy eatery.“
