Cute hole-in-the-wall spot in a little plaza. The restaurant was very clean and spacious and the service was very fast, friendly, and personable. The chef came out and gave us her recommendations. We had the beignets which were delicious, a little heavy but very good. I had the crab cake Benny and my friend had the classic. Hollandaise sauce was yummy and lemony tangy and the crab cakes were crispy in the outside, soft on the inside. Drinks are cheap ($5-6) for mimosas, bellinis, etc. Definitely will return for the bennys and breakfast.

The food was ok, but not worth what they charge. The proportions could have been a little bigger we left still hungry. The waiter kept going around to different tables with food asking if it was theirs.

Went there for breakfast with my mom, my daughter and 2 year old grandson. Walked in the door and not greeted with a hello, just "how many in your party". Then while following the lady to our table we asked for a high chair. She abruptly pulled it out from where it was stored and dragged it to the table. We thanked her and had no response. We all looked at eachother and felt this overwhelming coldness...could it be because we had a baby with us? She then came over with some waters and told us the specials...we thanked her again and again no response. Not only was the start of the service uncomfortable but they no longer served breakfast. I asked her about it and again abruptly she said "we don't do breakfast anymore". She walked away. Again we all looked at eachother and all decided at the same time, it was time to leave. We felt very unwelcomed there!

Bleu Cafe is one of those gems that is off the main drag. They are known for their quality and fresh ingredients. While they are only open for lunch they have an International dinner (and a club for those who wish to sign up for it and join the club) once a month though temporarily halted due to COVID 19). I was lucky enough to attend the Irish dinner and was suitably impressed. The portions were huge, the food delicious and authentic menu representing the country. Had to go back and try it for lunch. There is a limited menu but a daily special and soup of the day are included. This is not a mass produced kitchen. There is a homey feel and the staff reflects this as well as pride in their cuisine. The prices are reasonable. It is an excellent choice for your lunch consideration. I will be a regular! Kudos to the chef for her standards.

My wife and I ordered lunch from Bleu a week ago! Best sandwiches we've had in a long time that we didn't make ourselves! I had the Reuben and it was amazing! Perfectly toasted bread with an amazing sauce and exquisitely tender beef. The fries have some of the best seasoning in the valley. I strongly advise you eat them on the way home to avoid soggy fries. A natural side effect of to go containers.

One day my husband and I donated blood at Vitlant on Winnie Lane Carson City,NV and I noticed this little restaurant next door. We thought that we would give it a try. The offerings have a French flair. As the name Bleu Cafe. The server was excellent and friendly. The food was very good. I was impressed by the regular side salad. It was great. Spring greens and everything you crave in a simple salad. for dessert we had an amazing bread pudding! It was the best I've ever had. The prices are about the same as anywhere else in town. Give it a try you will thank me.

I love the food here but don't go on a busy time because if there are more than five people in your party they have a serious problem seating you. We waited an hour while they seated parties of fouur that cAme in after us and kept teeming us they were having problems setting up for us. We left. No thank you Bleu cup for a lack of hospitality and service.

Bleu has re-opened for lunch, Monday - Friday. Roberta has added a few things to the menu and has daily specials. It's nice to have this little gem back open.
