Went to have breakfast with my mom. Her sausage patties were burnt. Returned them and the new patties were undercooked! Horrible!!!! Lily our server was great with helping us. I will not be eating here for quiet sometime.

I like going here when I'm working in the area we go here for morning meeting sometimes and things. The wait staff is incredibly friendly and they take very good care of us. The food is always good done well. The atmosphere is usually good but sometimes there's just people in there that talk too loud about all the wrong things in my opinion. But that's the area. I wish I had a remote to shut people up sometimes but it has nothing to do with the Black Bear Diner. ?

Came in on a sunday at 0930. More than half the tables were empty, but it was somehow longer than a half hour wait and they took someone else onto the list before me but I was there first. I left. Don't bother.

Service and atmosphere were great but the food was a bit disappointing. When it was brought to the waitresses attention, she made it right.

It was thee worst breakfast I've had in quite some time. Fried potatoes were cold and soggy, over medium eggs were extremely running, and the Denver omelet was dry. It was the 1st and last time going to this Black Bear. Management should replace horrible cooks!!!

First off it took 15 minutes for someone to come up to the front desk, and I have fractured ribs and in a great deal of pain, so standing there for that amount of time was rude and unprofessional I had ordered my bday breakfast b4 arriving so I could get in/out quickly. You are very limited as to your choices. It was horrid. My eggs were like raw, the sausage links hadn't even been browned and the biscuits and gravy were dry, lacked any taste and not edible. My dog wouldn't eat any of it, if I had a dog. It was really awful. No potatoes were offered and i ended up spending $30 on a small stuffed bear for my bday and I regret it. We will never try any of their food. I gave up Denny's for this? I had to throw it out. It was absolutely the worst breakfast I have ever had (in 63 years).

The portions are generous. My husband loves the coconut cream pie so be sure to save room, or take a pie home! My disappointment is they don't serve root beer floats until after 3 pm!
I have eaten at several black bear diners, the food at this one in Carson City nevada was the worst. Ordered chicken fried steak. Tasted like it was put into a microwave and over cooked. The same was done with the cornbread muffin. Whole bottom was hard as a brick. Don't eat there. Baked potato was just ok.
