The food was horrible. The ambiance is cute but the meals they served my whole family were not enjoyable.

I have driven by this place so many times and never new about the hodden gem inside. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

Comma Coffee in Carson City is an absolute gem. The moment you walk in, the eclectic, artsy décor gives the place real character — warm, creative, and instantly inviting. It feels like a space made for people who actually enjoy being there.
I ordered June’s Benediction — an open-faced English muffin with pesto, spinach, onion, cilantro, avocado, and two sunny-side-up eggs — and added ham. It was hands-down one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. Every bite was balanced, fresh, rich, and perfectly executed. The flavors worked together beautifully instead of competing, which is rare.
The service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without feeling forced.
Comma Coffee isn’t just a coffee stop — it’s an experience. If you’re in Carson City and skip this place, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Five stars without hesitation.

After finishing the Kit Carson Trail and exploring the many historic homes and landmarks, we happened upon this charming coffee shop and restaurant.

The ambience is unique and fun—definitely not your typical coffee stop. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall pleasant experience.

We arrived close to closing time, so some of the food had been sitting out for a bit, but even so, it was still quite good. We’d like to come back earlier in the day to try everything at its freshest.

Overall, a nice surprise and a spot we’d happily return to.

I’ve been coming to Comma Coffee since 2021 and love the coffee, food and especially the super friendly staff. The interior space makes me think of Alice in Wonderland with the fun, eclectic art, photos, furnishings, quotes, etc.. Even the restrooms are an experience. I try to dine / shop local to support these inspiring entrepreneurs.

Wonderful coffee, friendly atmosphere. Food is fresh. Croissant was excellent. Omelet was not well seasoned or tasty.

This is a special place among generic dining alternatives. Great people, food, and atmosphere. Relax and enjoy a no hassle restaurant.

Editing for visibility: Service was rude today. There was an apology, twice, for forgetting I was there, twice. But it definitely felt intentional; I was simply ordering one item. One time is forgivable. But I had to bus my own table in order to pay. I was there an hour to drink an espresso.

Great little place. I lucked out and there was an event which closed the street out in front. So, very quiet. But it’s usually very busy!
